“For years this location was "That Other Place." I began drinking there as a junior in high school (when legal was 18 and no one ever checked ID's). Fast forward 40+ years and I'm in town celebrating with my wife (who partied with me back in the day). We noticed a sign advertising "Classic Rock, 9 - 12." Since we apparantly qualify as classics, we're in. Unlike the pitiful review from Mike G (observation: lousy reviews usually signify someone off their meds. 9 outta his whopping 13 Yelp reviews all received 1 star, the others 5. Poor soul). Any who . . . we had a great time. C-4 was a talented band that played their contagious danceable song list until we cried "enough!" I opened a tab, drank our beer, sipped plenty of Jack Daniels, and had a ball. My take? Mike G you need to loosen up. To the rest I say lace up your dancin' shoes and "Give 'em a whirl."“
“If you love Mac n cheese, you HAVE to go here! The servings you get are massive, and they have 17 different kinds to choose from! For those who aren't as into Mac n cheese, there are also salads, wings, burgers, sandwiches, all sorts of appetizers. The staff are so polite and friendly. Can't wait to go again!“
“The Cuban was as good as reviews said! Meat was a bit cold but the taste was delicious. Fried Brussel sprouts…OMG! Good! Everyone said their food was good. Service was passable. Went to the front for seating bartender saw me but ignored me. When the rest of my party arrived decided if we wanted to eat we would have to go back to the bar area. Had to go to the bar to ask for napkins and salt and pepper. She wasn’t very attentive until other tables filled up and then since she was there anyway she checked on us.Parking: Limited parking shared with other businesses.“
“Hosted a private party at The Office last night. Could not have been better. The staff was amazing, incredibly helpful, fast, efficient and flexible. They worked directly with the restaurant that catered it. Beer selection is outstanding, drinks were very well done. Ambiance is perfect. I can't thank Dan and his staff enough for a really memorable and special celebration!“
“Great local bar! Always has a good crowd of very friendly locals! Wings are great! Bartenders are always friendly and helpful! Liquor drinks can be pricey here but craft brews are reasonably priced! Always a good time! Great place to make new friends! They usually have a good bands and regularly no cover to see the band!“
“This is one of the best restaurants in the Corning area, and I highly recommend it to everyone if you plan to visit Crystal City. Very spacious, nicely decorated, and has a very warm ambiance. Good food, freshly made-to-order. The pizzas were awesomely baked. So fresh, so crispy, so light, so good. The Caprese was also fantastic in a different way. Hand-stretched fresh mozzarella on fresh tomato, and drizzled with balsamic glaze, oil, and pesto. It was a real gold and I am not exaggerating. Friendly servers and cheerful. Very recommended. Some people commented it's slow. As this is not Burger King or McD, why would those individuals expect "fast" while not going to fast food stores and paying for a higher price? Don't drink that much while typing up reviews. LOL.“
“Vibrant bar pub in the historic section of Corning.The sandwiches are decent. Many attempts to create traditional sandwiches with new twists. Some are better, some worse off. We like the curried beef, a hint of curry sauce enhanced the meat nicely. The banh mi, not so much. The chef used the soft and spongy roll, pickled cucumbers, and garlicky mayonnaise sauce, which are very contrary to the spirit of banh mi, where soft but crispy roll is king, and fresh crunchy cucumbers are the staples, and last the sauce or pate spread should be subtle, to enhance but not dominate the flavors. The littlephitaly was a good attempt to capture the philly roast pork sandwich. It is the best sandwich of the night.For travelers, passing through town, we found this place has many nice things that a gathering place must have: long community table, decent sandwiches, and long variable beer list. Quite a lively place. We would stop back if we happen to be in the area again.One question for the name, Hand + Foot, is it because it just cost a bit less than Arm + Leg to eat there?“
