We were expecting a coffee/tea shop, and had no prior experience with Kava. John, the cool guy behind the bar, introduced us to the culture and the proper Kava drinking etiquette. Prices are reasonable for what it is and the experience. Lots of space that is used for events, social gatherings, etc. On the day we went (Saturday) there weren't any events listed, but a decent gathering showed up. Really cool spot. Visiting from Nyack, Ny and it's my first time learning about Kava and having the full experience. I don't know how I haven't heard about this before! I felt super relaxed and I loved how people could just come together, and share the moment. Had great conversation, and no judging eyes. Do not leave Ithaca without coming here at least once!
