I had a nice brisket sandwich. I recently had covid so I couldn't taste it very well, but what I could taste was good. The texture was nice. The meat was tender. The food didn't take too long to come out and the server was super nice and courteous. She always checked to see if I needed a refill.
Made for a nice lunch spot with family. The Tavern was exceptionally cold inside, I never took my jacket off. Music was sports tavern-appropriate, but consistently country. I’d say the food from this establishment is hit or miss. We’ve been multiple times and have also ordered take out. The service is generally slow when seated in the restaurant section. First time eating inside & it was slow to get seated (no there was not a line) and People who sat after us received their food first. My child pizza was not tasty at all.
