“I have been to Rita's many times and I love it! The inside has a small amount of seating, but we've always managed to get a seat. The service here is great and super quick even where there's a long line. The Italian Ice is always delicious and I love the rotating menu!“

“A great place in an unlikely spot: an old Abbott's in a plaza that has seen better days. Lovely people and good food. We found them because our regular spot for safe gluten-free food was temporarily closed and we just keep going back. They have gluten-free pastries including apple fritters--a must try! Would love to see more vegetarian options show up, but they are very agreeable and understanding if you request light cheese or no cheese. The regular pizzas are also amazing; really good sauce and crust. Highly recommended.“
“Had to wait 10 minutes to get in because the employee was on break. However, I was visiting from Buffalo and I'm a big fan of Perry's ice cream but this place might have them beat. The butterscotch chip ice cream was phenomenal and so was the lemon bar. My significant other loved her red velvet cheesecake and ice cream as well. Definitely will be returning soon ☺️“
“Just had a birthday party there on a Saturday afternoon, and we all had a fun tasty time. Great price to have yogurt cups for all, goodie bags, a fun whip cream game and a special gift for the birthday girl. All enjoyed it and we'll be coming back for sure. “The flavors are limited but we chose the flavor of the day, peanut butter brownie cheesecake. It was delicious! Very smooth. The waffle cone is huge! Piece of advice: Order the regular size as the portions are generous. The store is clean and bright. The two young women working were pleasant but a bit slow so expect to wait a bit if there is a line. Will definitely return.“
“Abbott's is a western New York classic. The custard is fantastic, there are plenty of creamy options to choose from and they they had prompt customer service in spite of a continuous line of customers. I will be back again (and again and again).“
“Delicious homemade frozen custard. We had large servings for our single scoop cones. Nice variety of flavors to choose from which a couple changing daily. We had prompt friendly service. Samples available to taste first. Pints, cakes and other frozen novelties available. Drive thru window at this location. Milk shakes, sundaes, and a variety of toppings are on the menu too. Restaurant was cleaned. Large parking lot in front, picnic tables outside and a few tables inside for seating. Order at counter.“
“Best spot for frozen custard in Rochester. Right up on the lake next to Ontario Beach Park, plenty of parking nearby, and this place is always hoppin! Nice for a family outing, or a nostalgic date night with your significant other. Chocolate almond on a waffle cone is my go-to. Note: custard is a softer 'soft serve' ice cream and it melts very quickly. Have little ones? Grab a pile of napkins...you'll need it.“
“The only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars was because it was FILLED with students from Olympia who were rude and obnoxious. They need a "no loitering" policy and someone to actually enforce it.It was completely ridiculous - kids swearing loudly, fighting each other near the gas pumps, jumping in front of moving cars and then laughing about it, belligerently pushing past (paying) customers, and basically just in everyone's way that was trying to pump gas or make a purchase inside.Essentially, avoid that place between 2:00- 3:00 at all costs. Other than that, nice place.“
“Great neighborhood cafe, owners & staff are so pleasant. Baked goods, breakfast sandwichs, yogurts & so much more make for a great time. Food trucks on Wednesdays in the summer along with their ice cream, make it a nice place to gather and meet neighbors.“
