“As an avid fisherman for carp on the canal right outside this shop I understand the frustrations behind them being closed outside business hours, and I’ve seen tons of people try to open the door and it was locked. Anyways, my frail and tiny little girlfriend and I came here on a beautiful night and we got served right away, cheaper than most of the overpriced junk in the rest of Pittsford or other places I won’t name where we just came from (see other reviews) and the gelato was fire. The bowls and spoons were mad cute too. Great experience especially on a nice summer night. Might get hammered at lock 32 after this. They just gotta fix the hours/ door issue and they would have 5 stars. My girlfriend is so cute.“

“My son has severe dairy and egg allergies. We have been searching for an ice cream shop that truly cares about kids/people with allergies. They TRULY care & as soon as I mentioned allergies I could tell her attentiveness got even more aware & alert! I was able to get a safe ice cream (strawberry & mango dole twist, and an oatmilk strawberry) WITH SPRINKLES! We will definitely be back, thank you for being aware of allergies & bringing an option ❤️“

“We ordered a set of 6 through Postmates and unfortunately didn’t get our cookie cutter that we ordered. Postmates has put us through if with supplying documentation l, sending a million pictures, etc… only to say our order isn’t eligible for a refund. On a whim I called in to ask about this and the GM was amazing. She just offered us a cookie cutter. Didn’t make it a hassle, was amazingly friendly, and made me feel a lot less crazy about the situation. 10/10 for crumble cookie 0/10 for Postmates ?“

“Absolutely love Mary and her team in Webster. Loved their yogurt and when it was discontinued, Mary suggested the closest option of non-dairy and loved it. She really cares about her customers!“

“AMAZING love this place. I've been coming here since I was little with my grandma and just came today with my grandpa and mom and we had the BEST SOUP I've ever had. My mom loved her tuna melt and my grandpa and I loved our soups. Highly recommend and of course their Gelato is great.“

“Stopped here while driving in from Canada on my way to Fishers. Didn't realize until my order was ready that they only accept US cash — and all I had was Canadian. Lexi was incredibly kind and offered the ice cream on the house, no charge at all. Such a thoughtful gesture from a complete stranger, and it really made my day. Thank you so much, Lexi and the girls — this kindness won't be forgotten!“

“We love this classic ice cream shop. The atmosphere is so quaint. The ice cream is so politely served and there is plenty of room to hang out outside. Which is really important when you have rambunctious kids like I do. It's hard to imagine hanging out peacefully ever. So thanks so much to Dipper Dan for providing an environment where my raucous aggravating children don't necessarily bother anyone except me, which although I'm used to it by now, I really wish could improve. I'm not sure if it's their mom's genes or mine, but it's really something. So anyway, Dipper Dan is great.“

“My boyfriend and I were looking for a dog friendly ice cream place today and saw online that you guys have these adorable little pup cups! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to our horgi (husky/corgi) Tucker. It was his very first time going out for ice cream! “i placed an uber eats order tonight 6/24 at 8pm and requested extra brownie bits and i just want to personally thank whoever made my blizzard. SHOUT OUT TO YOU this is a 10/10. i would go as far as to say you should be crowned the blizzard master. perfect amount of brownie pieces no skimping in sight i could cry!“
