“Enjoyed an excellent meal last night with my wife. Berry salad was the perfect starter. Lobster ravioli with white wine cream sauce and langoustine lobster tails was scrumptious. I had the cioppino special and the broth was spiced just right for dipping with the garlic bread pieces. Clams, calamari, and mussels were tender and tasty. Salmon was a nice addition.We let our server make several wine choices that we enjoyed. Service was excellent and attentive. Pistachio cake dessert was a nice finish.We will return soon to try the honey lemon scallops and several of the shareables.Highly recommended!“
“Our first time here and we would definitely go back. There was so much on the menu we wanted to try. We ended up getting a bunch of small plates, all of which were excellent. My favorite, though, was the octopus. It was outstanding. The service was excellent as well.“

“My friend and I went there for dessert and a beverage. The selection was outstanding. I ordered the Viennese Mirangue Torte, it was delicious. My friend has the raspberry cheesecake, she said it too was delicious. The service & attention from the waitress was excellent. We are planning on going again.“
“I really liked the food and the vibes at Thali, the butter chicken is my top in Rochester right now. But I gotta say, I was slightly disappointed with the service. When we came in, it took a while for any server to even notice us, and I had to kind of ask for a menu or service. However, that was acknowledged and they gave me a drink to make up for it.Although, I was later charged for the drink at the end of my bill. So, that was weird lolOther than that, once the order was taken, our food was out fairly promptly, and I really liked what we had. I would quite love to go back!“
“The food here is really good! They have a limited menu, which allows their food to be delicious. They even have a vegetarian option, which I feel like you don't often see on limited menus. Our server was very attentive and checked on us several times without being over the top. The inside of the restaurant is nice and quiet...easy to have a conversation.“
“I love this place! Lived in Greece 60 years and it’s hands down my favorite restaurant-bar on the west side. Classy and small, amazing selection of whiskeys, cozy, beautifully lit, astonishingly good food- Flight West has it all. Except one thing. If you’re going to offer so much beautiful scotch, you’ve got to get Drambuie. Nothing beats a Rusty Nail as an after dinner drink. I’d like to give it a 4.9 stars. Try the bao bao buns! Last night had the Kung Pau calamari - fabulous. Wasn’t a huge fan of the octopus. Surprisingly good charcuterie. I’m rooting for them to become a permanent part of the town.“
“Attractive quaint place with only bar seating. The staff is super friendly and the food is worth it ??. I do wish they’d add a small simple cocktail menu, even just three drinks done really well. With their attention to detail, and intentionally focused approach, I’m sure they could whip up one of the best martinis in town if they tried.“

There was a simple elegance in the food presentation and flavors, however the dessert case was a show stopper! Everything oozed freshness, flavor, and shine. It was as good as it looked! Someone knows what they're doing and someone cares. The service was attentive, warm, and considerate. Do not let the ordinary location put you off. “My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Pane Vino on the Avenue last night. All the staff were attentive, starting with the gracious hostess, the knowledgeable waiter, Nico, and the bus staff who filled our water, gave us more delicious bread and packed our leftovers to go. “This is a hidden GEM in Rochester, NY! It is not a "pub" where the bar is the main focal point. It's in the back but is much more a fine dining type restaurant and well worth the visit. We had the twin 3oz filet, crab cake, mashed potato dish special and it was out of this world! We finished it off with peanut butter pie and coffee which was the perfect ending to an amazing meal with my husband!Highly recommend!“
“Nice place. Amaizing food. As a Mexican food offer, not to much selection of food, but the ones were very tasty. Alcohol was a varierity of coctels some good and others not so good. Atmosphere: place is pretty in the inside but music was not so good.“
“Whenever my parents come to Rochester to visit, we go here. The meatball is so good like I crave that meatball at times. Chicken Parmesan is pretty good. The penne Al a vodka is a little spicy but it’s Okay. The people are very nice to us the bread is great. Will continue to go to Benucci’s :)“
“My husband and I had a great meal here for my birthday ! We ordered octopus starter, I had scallops and he had lamb lollipops. Everything was so delightfully fresh and delicious ! We overheard the owner say most of the seafood had come from Boston area just a day prior and you could definitely tell with how tender the scallops were ! The atmosphere has allure, great for an intimate meal and had a couple large parties so could host a larger party as well. There was plenty of parking. Josh was our waiter and said he was new but was attentive and helpful with menu recommendations. Prices are a bit on the higher end but dont let that deter you, the quality and great service makes it worth every penny! We will be back- wehad trouble not going back later in the week !“
