“I love everything about this place! The beans are fresh and the prices are reasonable. I like that they offer a low/soft acid coffee option. Each staff member I've dealt with has been pleasant and helpful. They have punch cards to earn a free pound of coffee, and you even get a fresh, free cup of coffee on your visit! I will continue to buy my coffee here and highly recommend them.“
“Best frozen hot cocoa I've ever had. Ambiance is always warm and inviting, service is very attentive and friendly as well. Whether I want to energize for the day or wind down, I love having Canaltown in the neighborhood as my go to coffee shop.“
“Amazing beer! Great fried pickles! Wonderful and engaging customer service! My only regret is the we couldn't bring back beer for the amazing chef because they were out of it (she'll know what I'm talking about and hopefully forgive us because we can't wait to come back for more delicious beer and the best chicken noodle soup with biscuits we've ever tasted!). Great taproot with amazing beer, food, and staff! Can't wait to come back!“
“They were so happy to speak with us about every little question we had. If you need a cup of coffee but want it done right then you should get it here. Stock up on fresh beans or just come for the great service, there isn't a bad option!“
“It may have taken me over a year to finally remember the name of this spot, but I'm obsessed. I recommend it to everyone I know, too. I don't even live in Rochester but this is where I buy my coffee. There are some roasts from different locals than what you may typically find, like Malawi and Sulawesi. It's all good, and all becomes a matter of personal coffee preferences.Someone mentioned the staff here not being nice or friendly, but I've had great interactions with them all. The baristas bust their butts and the coffee area employees put up with my many coffee questions. Prices went up in May to $18/pound from $16, I believe; they clearly communicated it was due to rising costs and paying their coffee suppliers a decent rate. I still think it's a fair price--some places charge than price for 12 ounces versus a full pound.“
“Very nice place on the side of the Artisan’s building. Don’t waste your money at the place across the street. These guys are the real deal. Coffee is smooth and delicious! Highly recommend!Parking: Lots of room for all the customers they are going to have stop!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in at ground level.“
“Located in Downtown Rochester, outstanding coffee and espresso selection. Creative drink menu: mocha, peanut butter latte, and uncle latte. Attention to detail, quality beans, healthy menu options and great service! They also offer pour over coffee for those who prefer freshly prepared coffee drinks! There is a soft serve machine for those interested in a cold, delicious dessert.“
“I had a cold brew. It was perfect, nothing special, but that's because, well, I ordered a plain cold brew. I ordered the Mt. Hope Mex Sandwich on ciabatta which was good, albeit small for the cost. I was definitely still hungry. But the egg on the sandwich was perfectly soft. The lighting is dim, but it fits the vibe. Love the local art and parking was awesome!“
“Great restaurant and great atmosphere! Very welcoming and friendly staff. The breakfast sandwiches and coffees are ALL 10/10 for a great price! One of those places where you discover and become a regular customer. Location is super nice too and hope to see them expand a little more into other parts of Rochester. My new everyday breakfast spot“
