“I rarely ever stop eating food to leave a review, but I just got the oxtail lunch meal here with rice and beans and the plantains and I'm in heaven right now.This food tastes soooo good! Perfectly cooked, very savory, the meat is falling off the bone. Jamaican beef patties are also delicious.And the lady that cashed me out was very nice.I will come here whenever I have a craving for Jamaican food, can't wait to try other options. “Pepper Pot is one of the most authentic Jamaican restaurants in the Rochester area. I’ve been a customer for seven years. The Head Chef, Marlene is wonderful. Her beef & veggie patties, jerk chicken, oxtail, curry chicken, steamed cabbage , rice and peas, plantains and fried dumplings are our favorites. The ambience is perfect, the reggae music and cloth lined tables are perfect for a business lunch or dinner.Parking: $5 across the street.“

“My friends and I we got here by chance to get some food before we head out the our friends wedding reception.The guy who was there (Don't know if he was the owner) he greet us and treat us great. He told us all the food options available and suggestions. Each one of use we got different meats, rice and beans and cabbage.We love it each one of use, we traded our meats to each one and was delicious.I attached the pictures of our meals.Totally recommend it eating here.“
“I have ordered from her twice so far but it has been the ✨️BEST✨️food I've had in YEARS. I'm from down in the deep south and moved up here to NY a few years ago. I had been craving some good soul food, food that will not only fill your stomach but your spirit and I found it here. The size of the greedy plate is ridiculous for the price. I ate off it for dinner one night and lunch the next day cause there was so much. The oxtail plate was immaculate, tender and juicy, fell right off the bone. This place deserves some kind of award for sure. Best eats I've had in a long time. Thank you for the incredible meals!“
