Their menu really plays up their 5 Alarms Burger, enough so that it felt like the adventurous option to choose. In reality, it was a pretty straightforward burger with some jalapeños and hot sauce to give it a little bit of kick. This burger was tasty, but it won't have you scrambling for a beverage or cause your nose to run.

“I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT“

“I love the burgers here, and my dining companion raves about the pizza! Today I tried their version of Nashville chicken.

Way too much bun for the chicken, which was tasty but not special in its flavor. Nice and crunchy but bland. No kick at all. Way too many pickles - no problem, just picked a few off and ate a few separately. I usually really like their rosemary garlic fries. Today they were hard, cool and very salty. Surprising because they'd just opened.

Overall the customer service vibe was off today. Our server was excellent, however the way we were received could improve. I had planned to meet someone at 11:30 am. That's when they open, and trust me, not a minute earlier. As a matter of fact, 2 minutes late, with staff making sure to not make eye contact as they prepared. There was no seating outside the main entrance, situated within a mall. It was about to start raining, so it didn't seem wise to sit outside. Tough on those who cannot stand for long periods of time. When the staff finally unlocked the door, they just turned the bolt and walked away. I would've expected them to physically open the door and welcome the small crowd that had gathered.

“The burgers were very good, but coming from Montreal our portions are expected to be bigger. I found this portion really really small. The tater tots for my taste way too salty. The fries were very very good especially with the skin on them so you know they’re fresh. Service was very polite with a smile.“

“Girl at the counter was very friendly. Restaurant was clean, bathroom, not so much. The thing that really impressed me though, and the sole reason I decided to review, was the gentleman at the grill. All by himself. My food was done in minutes. “Late-night option when many other things were already closed...but it turned out it wasn't like we missed out on something better because of the late hour...this was perfect. The wife and I got to relax with my sister and brother-in-law at a table for as long as we wanted. Complimentary popcorn is always a bonus. I was debating over 2 new-to-me beers and the server offered giving me 2 glasses with half of each - how nice! I got the Irish beef stew and it was enormous, delicious, and I was very impressed with how much meat they put in it. Wife got the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap which she raved about as well.“

I forgot to post this on Tuesday, but my friend and I went to Wingstop and had probably the best experience ever! The woman who took our order was named Trisha (I hope I am spelling it correctly), but she was an absolute sweetheart! My friend's card had been acting up and Trisha decided to cover her order! Now I know that there is still amazing people out there like her because that act of kindness made our day! I don't think I have ever seen anyone actually do that kind of thing for someone in my life! All the workers were just amazing, and even though they were very busy during their lunch rush they were kind to every single customer! Now I know that not every time you go somewhere that someone would do that for you, but Trisha didn't waste a second and decided to help us out! I don't think she realized how much we appreciated her, she helped us out when we needed too. Thank you for hiring such an amazing worker! Have a blessed day!!“
