We had two bartenders and they were very attentive, pleasant, and quite funny. I have not had a chance to try the food yet, but I definitely plan to visit again soon.“

“I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT“

“I love the burgers here, and my dining companion raves about the pizza! Today I tried their version of Nashville chicken.

Way too much bun for the chicken, which was tasty but not special in its flavor. Nice and crunchy but bland. No kick at all. Way too many pickles - no problem, just picked a few off and ate a few separately. I usually really like their rosemary garlic fries. Today they were hard, cool and very salty. Surprising because they'd just opened.

Overall the customer service vibe was off today. Our server was excellent, however the way we were received could improve. I had planned to meet someone at 11:30 am. That's when they open, and trust me, not a minute earlier. As a matter of fact, 2 minutes late, with staff making sure to not make eye contact as they prepared. There was no seating outside the main entrance, situated within a mall. It was about to start raining, so it didn't seem wise to sit outside. Tough on those who cannot stand for long periods of time. When the staff finally unlocked the door, they just turned the bolt and walked away. I would've expected them to physically open the door and welcome the small crowd that had gathered.

“The burgers were very good, but coming from Montreal our portions are expected to be bigger. I found this portion really really small. The tater tots for my taste way too salty. The fries were very very good especially with the skin on them so you know they’re fresh. Service was very polite with a smile.“

“Great cheeseburgers, especially if you like messy ones! Always taste delicious. I wish the roll to be a little bit bigger to fit the cheeseburger. Today I tried the dough bites and I would not recommend. They tasted chewy yet hard. Felt like they were canned dough biscuits cut up, fried and rolled in powder sugar. No flavor. Now, their ice cream float? Absolutely delicious!!“

“Girl at the counter was very friendly. Restaurant was clean, bathroom, not so much. The thing that really impressed me though, and the sole reason I decided to review, was the gentleman at the grill. All by himself. My food was done in minutes. “Food was good albeit a little light on portion. Service was average for eating in the bar would have hope for a bit more. Adult drinks were empty like 3 bites into the food after it was delivered and no show to the High Top table for the whole meal. Which was ironic because the table was literally right between the service cubby and the bar. Will return just will walk up to the bar next time.“

“Today we had a problem with a takeout order at Flaherty's. The order we picked up was inaccurate. We called and the person who answered said to come back in a few minutes. When we returned we were greeted by the manager who offered his apologies for the mishap and offered to give us a free meal for our inconvenience. In summation: A problem resolved! “We've gathered there with friends on two occasions recently. Both times the waitress was very attentive and accommodating - separate checks were no problem at all. We reserved tables ahead of time. “Hungy's Grill is Pittsford's local hole-in-the-wall eatery that offers great food at a good price. My wife and I ordered their Cowboy Burger and 5 Alarms Burger. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and tasted great.

Their menu really plays up their 5 Alarms Burger, enough so that it felt like the adventurous option to choose. In reality, it was a pretty straightforward burger with some jalapeños and hot sauce to give it a little bit of kick. This burger was tasty, but it won't have you scrambling for a beverage or cause your nose to run.

“Ariana was the best worker I’ve seen in years! I’m highly impressed with her work ethic. Not only was she our waitress, she was hostess, cleaner, and everything in between. She was constantly working, not walking past messes like most workers do these days. She cleans it up. Great at multitasking and very professional. Food was good, we both had the Fiesta Lime Chicken.
