“We just had the best experience here! Me and my boyfriend came in with our loving dog. We were immediately told by the owner (Carl) that we were more than welcome and he came around the counter to greet her. We get nervous sometimes taking her places incase they don’t allow dogs (even though she is a ESA) but they were so friendly they put us immediately to ease. Overall this was some of the best food we’ve had from any Salvatore’s location. They were attentive and gave amazing service. The owner even came over with a water bowl for my dog and continued to tell us how welcomed we were while having her with us. We are very grateful for this amazing experience!!“

“I grew up in Rochester and Wegman's is one of the few things that I legitimately miss since moving away. There is no other grocery store that can rival it and it appears to have only gotten better since I was a kid. They have vastly expanded the prepared foods, including subs, pizzas, sushi, and so on. A lot of locations even have seating for the cafe area. Prices have definitely gone up a little, but the quality supports it. Staff is always great and the stores are clean.“

I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend!“

Nino & his son run this modest pizzeria just as you would experience in Italy, Sicily, New York, Boston etc. While the shop has a no-frills atmosphere, the quality of the pizza is first class for a reasonable price. First, the dough & crust are excellent and cooked just right. The sauce is very good, if you want it spicer, just ask or order with sausage. The mozzarella, sautéed mushrooms and roasted red peppers are all excellent and the weight of the pizza is double what you get from chains. We usually order a half-sheet with toppings for 3 people and always have enough left over for a second meal. Finally, Nino takes great pride in bring your pizza to the counter, opening the the lid and asks for your approval before telling you the price & accepting your money. If you want to experience authentic Italian pizza, you have to try Nino's.“
