“It's been a little bit since I have been able to dine here but the food is fantastic; I mean the breakfast, lunch, dinner, and they also cater for part of my fraternity every winter not a bad thing to say there at all. My favorite is thier seafood bisque and they used to have fried cheese curds, out of this world. Only reason I gave them four stars is sometimes the staff seems to forget they are working at a resturant and feel like their at home so the conduct is a bit less than professional; now I personally have no problem with it I enjoy the atmosphere it feels like Newark to me but it may rub many the wrong way so I have to "star" accordingly.“

“Traveled from Southwest Pa to vacation with friends from Wyoming County and Fish Lake Erie. Two Veterans, 1 Marine and 1 Army and their wives. Saw the posts online about this Legion and gave the Fish Fry a try. It was the right choice. Gets an excellent rating from us on food and service. Very nice enviroment as well.“

“This is a busy bar with a surprisingly extensive menu. We drove about nine miles off 91 to find the place. My wife said the grilled cheese and tuna was amazing. My sausage sandwich was good. It is kind of a run down place but no one cared. We ate at the counter which was crowded. The owner came over and we had a nice chat. I might stop there again on our way down from Canada. The prices are very reasonable.“

“My family came here for a birthday brunch for Grandma. It's a great little diner. The food was decent but not exceptional. You know you'll get a good meal here. I had small pieces of pepper in my ham and cheese omelet. I ate it without complaint. My potatoes were room temperature. Again, edible but not perfect. I know we will eat here again and I'm okay with it.“

“We frequent this restaurant alot. Love the New England Clam chowder and fish fry. My husband loves the club sandwich and ham steak. The turkey dinner is very good too. Prime rib is excellent but recommend having it on Friday if you like a baked potato with it.“

“What we had was good, ribs and a Cuban sandwich with sides. When I go to a “BBQ” joint I always order their brisket! It’s my standard for judging the quality. This place didn’t offer any. Chicken, Pork and Beef. The waitress was great!“

“I live in Syracuse and every time that I make it out to Newark for work I stop at Tom wahls. yesterday was the first time I had seen a different bun. I really hope this is a temporary change because I have to be honest the burger only tasted about half as good as it usually does. the new buns are horrible“
