“This is a busy bar with a surprisingly extensive menu. We drove about nine miles off 91 to find the place. My wife said the grilled cheese and tuna was amazing. My sausage sandwich was good. It is kind of a run down place but no one cared. We ate at the counter which was crowded. The owner came over and we had a nice chat. I might stop there again on our way down from Canada. The prices are very reasonable.“

“We frequent this restaurant alot. Love the New England Clam chowder and fish fry. My husband loves the club sandwich and ham steak. The turkey dinner is very good too. Prime rib is excellent but recommend having it on Friday if you like a baked potato with it.“

“The food is outstanding! Super fresh, local ingredients, cooked properly. Ordered the specials of the day: grilled rainbow trout and ribeye with potatoes. The ingredients itself was so high quality-beef that tasted super beefy, medium rare done at exactly medium rare… the sides… the sauces… nothing was overly seasoned or salty, all the accompaniments were done well. Ordered seasonal local veggies as an appetizer… omg, so fresh, so good! Atmosphere is comfortable and airy, service so nice and friendly!“

“It's been a little bit since I have been able to dine here but the food is fantastic; I mean the breakfast, lunch, dinner, and they also cater for part of my fraternity every winter not a bad thing to say there at all. My favorite is thier seafood bisque and they used to have fried cheese curds, out of this world. Only reason I gave them four stars is sometimes the staff seems to forget they are working at a resturant and feel like their at home so the conduct is a bit less than professional; now I personally have no problem with it I enjoy the atmosphere it feels like Newark to me but it may rub many the wrong way so I have to "star" accordingly.“

They offer indoor seating in the bar area around a beautiful fireplace, or the front banquet room overlooking the beautiful Flint Creek waterfalls where many events take place. “My family came here for a birthday brunch for Grandma. It's a great little diner. The food was decent but not exceptional. You know you'll get a good meal here. I had small pieces of pepper in my ham and cheese omelet. I ate it without complaint. My potatoes were room temperature. Again, edible but not perfect. I know we will eat here again and I'm okay with it.“
