“Stopped by after walking main st for somewhere to eat. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food came out super quick and it was delicious! Made our way up front to pay and that was that. I love the set up, casual atmosphere and really friendly staff. 10/10”

“This is a busy bar with a surprisingly extensive menu. We drove about nine miles off 91 to find the place. My wife said the grilled cheese and tuna was amazing. My sausage sandwich was good. It is kind of a run down place but no one cared. We ate at the counter which was crowded. The owner came over and we had a nice chat. I might stop there again on our way down from Canada. The prices are very reasonable.”

“We frequent this restaurant alot. Love the New England Clam chowder and fish fry. My husband loves the club sandwich and ham steak. The turkey dinner is very good too. Prime rib is excellent but recommend having it on Friday if you like a baked potato with it.”

“Especially considering this was a on a very busy Friday night, I felt impressed by how quickly we received service. The sandwiches were delicious with perfect seasoning and fresh, fluffy buns and toppings. The salad was on par with sit-down restaurants with a wide array of toppings and fresh, crisp ingredients. I also recommend the lemonade, which perfectly blended tart and sweet. I will definitely be back!”

“My new husband and I came to the Finger Lakes on our honeymoon. We were in Canandaigua and were recommended Wally's by a local for a late-night dinner. What a fantastic experience! We had the wings and the Wally's plate, and we’ll be thinking of both for a long time!”

We grabbed a half pepperoni, half cheese pie here recently and honestly it was excellent. Hand-tossed, New York style — you can tell everything’s fresh. No shortcuts.

What made it even better was getting to meet the owner Mary. Super welcoming, great with our little ones — that stuff matters when you’ve got young kids with you. She let the kids pick out a couple of the cookies and offered them some stickers and tattoos, which I thought was a nice touch.

The staff was on top of it the whole time without being overbearing. And after the pizza, they brought out hand-baked cookies made with simple, fresh ingredients — a nice touch we weren’t expecting. The kids loved those just as much.

Speaking of the kids — on the way home they said it was the best pizza they’d ever had. That’s not something they say lightly.

Worth the visit. We’ll be back.
