“I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this! Local Palate is an amazing, elevated café nestled along other local places on the main drag in Phelps. A short drive from Rochester and totally worth it! Flavors were well- layered and beyond basic. The brunch offerings were surprising and satisfying. Highly recommend!”

“The food her was fantastic. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Our server was also wonderful. She was so kind, funny and attentive. They had live music playing and I can't wait to go when the weather is warmer and I can see on the patio. Totally recommend.”
“my favorite place I’ve ever eaten! Ignore ALL bad reviews! I seriously DONT know what’s wrong with some people but all I have to say is that this place is amazing! The food is so good, the service is amazing and the workers are so kind.”
“This place has been renamed China Wok. We were passing through this town around 8 pm, they were open, we decided to stop. Thankfully, we made that choice. This place was so good! The owners were kind and respectful, and the food! So good! We, a family of six, ordered the coconut shrimp (yes please!!), shrimp fried rice, house lo mein, beef & broccoli, dumplings, and crab rangoons. So much food! We did not realize just how much food they would serve. Oh, and because it was over $40, they gave us a FREE 2 ltr drink. Nice! Which by the way, was not much more than $40. The place is small, exactly 3 tables, total "hole in the wall", and oh so worth it. You can literally stand at the counter and watch them cook your food. It was delicious. Definitely go!”
“Crafty Ales is very good! My husband and I had a flight of beers. There is no food, just bar snacks. Out of the four we had, my favorite was the Ice Queen beer. The inside was very clean and the staff were friendly.”

“I finally got the shake shack on the thruway rest stop. The service was quick and the food was delicious. This will sound stupid, but for a place with shake in its name, I had a hard time finding shakes on the menu.”

“Stepping into Sam's Cafe at the outlet mall today was nothing short of a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming ambiance that promised a cozy retreat from the hustle and bustle of shopping. What truly set Sam's Cafe apart was the exceptional quality of their coffee. I had the pleasure of trying their frappuccino, and I must say, it was fantastic. The blend of flavors was perfect, with just the right amount of sweetness and a robust coffee kick that you hope for in a top-notch frappuccino. It's clear that Sam's Cafe doesn't compromise on quality, using premium ingredients to craft a drink that truly stands out.Equally impressive was the hospitality shown by the owner. Their genuine warmth and friendliness made me feel right at home, adding a personal touch that is often missing in many establishments today. It's evident that the owner takes great pride in their cafe and in ensuring every customer's experience is memorable.I can confidently say that Sam's Cafe is a gem within the outlet mall, offering not just excellent coffee but also a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy your time there. “Got there late about. 7 our order took some time to get . My tater tots were over cooked and we couldn't get a fish fry. We kinda felt rushed as they were putting chairs on the empty tables . We have been there before and had a great time. . Guess it depends on the time of day.”

“Great food great service. Four of us cost $71 with tax. We ordered 3 large platters that came with you choose of meat two side and corn bread. Then one small platter with one side and corn bread. And two empanadas. Food was delicious. The cabbage was so soft and flavorful with a bit of spice. Has to be my favorite side dish. The Spanish rice with beans was incredible. Mac and cheese was so cheesy and flavorful. It just melted in your mouth. The ribs were soft and fell off the bone. The fried chicken was juicy and crunchy. The empanadas were good but I like green olives in mine as it adds extra salt. They were still crispy and delicious. Overall it was a great experience with amazing food and great customer service. Would love to see the owners open an actual sit down restaurant.Empanadas were two for $6Large Fried chicken platter $15Large rib platter $16Small rib platter $12Empanada platter $15Tax $7”

“Wow! I had heard a couple of people mention The Rusty Pig and how good their BBQ was. They were not lying. I had the bacon-wrapped brisket meatloaf and the bacon, and the meatloaf literally melted in your mouth and, at the same time, exploding with flavor. Kevin's famous chili was fantastic also. If you even like quality BBQ just a little bit, you will love this place and their high-quality food!”
“We visited Vinifera on Saturday the 2nd of March. The place was hopping. Was a wonderful atmosphere. The host Kate was very fast, personable, and informational of the questions we asked. We will be going back and suggest to anyone who happens to be in the area to book your spot and experience the place, you will love it.”

“I'm an ER nurse and came in for breakfast after a busy shift. Waitress made me a fresh pot of decaf coffee so I'd be able to go home to sleep. Very nice, clean place. Great lake decor. Service was fast (but not in a pushy, get out the door kind of way). Food was EXCELLENT. Potatoes with green pepper and onions, topped with a delicious, tender steak and 2 poached eggs then drizzled with hollandaise sauce. Little accent of tasty sprouts too! It was absolutely delicious. Brownie and cinnamon bun to-go which we thoroughly enjoyed later in the day............We will be back!!”

“What a gem of a restaurant. Outstanding food and exceptional service from Ruby.Nice decor that was warm and intimate. There is a bar area and a large indoor seating area. There were so many choices on the menu but we decided to go with the specials. Karen went with the flank steak and scallops. We both loved our dinner, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. If you are looking for fine dining with fresh ingredients, then this place is for you.I do recommend making a reservation. “Exceptional coffee shop. The coffee options are delicious, and so is the food. Grind-On has a great selection of healthy food options…soups, sandwiches, wraps, gluten-free items, fresh fruit, and a top -notch bakery. The place is charming with a jazzy vibe, and super-duper clean (which seems to be a problem in so many other eateries). HIGHLY recommend.Vegetarian options: Most items are not vegetarian but they always offer a some vegetarian food, desserts, and a soup option.Parking: Usually lots of parking on both sides of the street out front, and there is a public parking lot in the back.Kid-friendliness: There is a little area where kids can color and play.”

“The food was so so good. Smaller but full flavored dishes. We legit didn't have anything negative to say about anything we ate. The nori bar mix was so so good even our kid devoured it. Loved the cold noodle salad dish it had lots of textures to it. The cucumbers were to die for and the sauce was drinkable we wanted more! It's a cool part of town and cute little quiet street with lots to do around it. Everyone needs to know the food the chef makes is not one to miss. Staff was friendly as well!”
“This is my favorite spot in Geneva. It is a bar with a unique atmosphere with thoughtfully crafted cocktails and a creative menu that changes pretty often. I'm not sure where they found their chef, but he comes up with some of the most amazing dishes that are both aesthetically pleasing and full of flavor. They have daily specials that are worth checking out and they do brunch on Sundays. I highly recommend the beef bulgogi nachos, they are my favorite dish that is a constant on the menu. They also occasionally do fun specials for certain holidays. For example, they had a New Orleans themed menu of drinks and food for Mardi Gras this year which was fantastic. This place is definitely worth checking out if you're in Geneva.”

“Very friendly staff and a beautiful location with a decent amount of seating to eat in. The pizza was great, crust is the perfect thickness and good sauce and the right amount of it as well. Love that they have cupped char pepperoni on the menu and it is phenomenal. Wings were a nice surprise at a good price and they're not tiny either. The buffalo sauce runs a bit on the hotter side FYI.”
