“Went in during a winter storm because we were bound to local options. So glad we did!!! Found the yummiest IPA’s. My fav is the vanilla bean.. SO glad it’s in my backyard! Planning on having some made to go for this weekend ❤️”

“For the 2nd time now we come during your business hours and your closed. We arrived at 9pm on a Friday night and staff had shut down and were cleaning up. 5 other vehicles pulled in at the same time we did and all of us where disappointed. That was hundreds of dollars lost out on in just 1 evening. Can't imagine how many other times this has happened. Maybe you should change the sign on your door and online.”

“I live in Syracuse and every time that I make it out to Newark for work I stop at Tom wahls. yesterday was the first time I had seen a different bun. I really hope this is a temporary change because I have to be honest the burger only tasted about half as good as it usually does. the new buns are horrible”

“I do recommend however not today. I had asked/ordered under the DYI for all the veggies on a sandwich, my sister ordered a sandwich with dressing on the side. We told them it was for “here”. We got the food brought to us in a bag to go. My sister asked for the dressing on the side. I did not get a veggie sandwich I got a panini with feta cheese, tomato, spinach and onion with a pesto sauce. Granted it was busy, but today the young woman did not listen to what we asked for. It was based on what they thought we asked for. Or who knows maybe the cook misinterpreted the order. Even though I brought it to their attention, she said I asked for a very veggie panini and I told her I did not ( that was her copartner telling us it’s covered under the veggie panini, I told her when she the copartner said that i was thinking i had no clue how they were going to fit all those veggies on a panini but ok). she wanted to make it right, but we already waited over 30 mins for our to go meal which should have been for there to begin with, to even be brought to us. I threw my meal out, couldn’t even eat it I was so disappointed, my sister could not finish her sandwich or chips because there was too much dressing on the sandwich when it was supposed to be on the side. Overall today was a big disappointment and waste of 26.00 plus a nice tip in the jar. Will I go there again? Sure at some point, because really they do a good job. This is the 2nd time I’ve gone this yr, last time was for breakfast which was fantastic! I considered today a donation.”

“I won’t lie I stopped coming to the Newark subway inside Walmart a year ago the staff was rude food was bad etc.. fast forward a year later me and my son come for a quick bite to eat give subway in the Walmart one more shot and I am so glad we did .. we met Kristen the worker who was amazing the food was great bread fresh cookies fresh worker very polite and friendly .. she just got over here a few months ago to help change this place around and well girl we so glad u came .. we will be eating here way more often and I’m hope everyone in the town will come out to see Mrs Kristen and let her send u away happy and full…. Hope to see ya here let’s show her some love from the community and help her build this place back up go down grab a sub a pizza a cookie stick garlic bread chips etc ..”

“We ordered fried chicken, baked chicken and sides for our event. Our guests could not stop raving about the flavor of the chicken. The prices were great and the owner was very helpful. We will be using this place again for sure!”

“Stopped in to try breakfast today. The breakfast sandwich made me feel at home with yummy perfectly toasty outside with gooey buttery melted cheese inside. And the puff pastry was amazing! Such a great treat.”
