A treasure of a restaurant giving Wayne County a fine dining option. The owners are wonderful people with culinary training. May it be dinner or Sunday brunch this is a must visit.
The Fish & Chips for Lent cannot be beat!
You have to try this place!! The food is some of the best I’ve ever had.

Based on reviews, The Hog & Hen is a cozy spot in a historic small town worth the drive. It offers excellent food and service with a great menu. The atmosphere is half the experience. Meals include a great fish fry, steak fritte, breakfast burrito, hog & hen burger, and chicken and waffles with cornbread waffles. Favorite bites include the asparagus and the best French fries. Fresh everything, great flavor. The owners are amazing. The restaurant is accommodating to food allergies. Fresh eggs, greens, baked goods, amazing cappuccinos, and home made hot chocolate are available. Sweet treats like the chocolate chip scone and PB & raspberry jelly sweet roll are delicious. It is a favorite warm, kind, delicious brunch spot on a Sunday, feeling like an artsy/foodie city cafe.
