We live about 30min from Bon Ami and had never been, so we gave it a shot last night when we had other plans in Canandaigua. It did not disappoint. First, we showed up very early for our reservation due to our other appt ending sooner than expected. The hostess accommodated us with a smile. My husband and I were in Canandaigua for a work-related trip. We were fortunate enough to get reservations at Bon Ami. The ambiance was absolutely lovely. The soup of the day was clam chowder, and it was one of the best clam chowders I've ever had outside of the New England area. We received welcomed recommendations on the food and wine pairings.
