“Nice pub just off Rt 20 and just outside of Canandaigua. This place looks fairly new. It has a large indoor area and hosts bands on certain days. The bar is huge, with about a dozen or so brews and ciders created on premises. Brews are priced fairly, about 6-7 dollars. I had a cherry stout, which was a bit too sweet for me. Pretty large menu at around $16.00 per meal: salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, etc. Did not eat there, so can't comment directly on the food. I would highly recommend checking it out - especially if you have a designated driver so you can sample more beer! Oh, and staff were very pleasant. Lots of outdoor seating in nice weather. Parking lot is a moonscape, however.“
“Enjoyed a wonderfully delicious fish fry with a couple of friends at Cheap Charlie’s! We got there just before 5pm. We were seated quickly, had our menus and drinks right away. Kayla, our server, was very pleasant and professional. Loved their clam chowder, too! I didn’t see their corned beef and cabbage special as I would have definitely had that! I plan on going back soon!“
“We went here for lunch while in the area. Food was pretty good, we tried the turkey sandwich and the bistro steak sandwich. service was great, place can be a bit crowded though as the seating was all in a small room next to the bar. Would give a 4.5 if I could.. Will likely go back to try more of their menu options.“
“This place is hands down the #1 place to stop for wings outside of Bflo. Great atmosphere and their "Dusted wings" are out of this world.... Huge beer menu and their "Big Beefy" is so tender and flavorful.. All their pizza dough and sausage is made in house.. Outstanding place.“
“Simply Crepes is my favorite place to go for brunch and visiting with friends. The last time I went though, my friend and I were visiting as we were finishing our drinks after eating. The host came over and politely notified us that our time of an hour and a half was coming to an end and we had to leave to make room for new reservations. No one was waiting and there were several open tables. That’s the first time I’ve had this happen to me there. I have sat alone there for a couple hours having breakfast before (I am a slow eater) and it was never a problem then.“
“We frequent wallys for burgers. Tonight we decided on wings. My man in the kitchen (who apparently also works at the green front) went above and beyond. He got us drinks and checked us out when the bartender was tending to other patrons. It was a very good experience for wanting to have drinks and get food but also get out quickly. Super pleased.“
“Lock stock is a classic old ski town style bar and restaurant, with good food and a classic environment straight from an 80s ski movie! The food is good and everything is homemade . The soups are always good, and the Mac and cheese- wings - and salads were all great! The only reason in not gouging the service 5 stars is because I told the lady my drink order, as clearly and to make it simpler.. yet, she did all the things I ask not to have.. and didn't do put the juice in my drink.Apart from that, this place was solid!“
“First time for us and we enjoyed it very much. My wife enjoyed the crab cake Benedicts and I the burger. My only complaint was the tomatoes were frozen and the fries sat for a bit and were cold and flacid. Looked like a great selection of Beer and other drinks. We will definely be regulars here. The waiter was great as “
“Finally, some place that really does know how to make a veggie sub. When I first opened up the container I thought they accidentally gave me a Philly sandwich. Normally when I asked for a veggie sub someplace, I get like three pieces of lettuce one and a half slice of tomato and a sprinkling of onion. Usually nothing much but bread. Nobody knows how to make them. But you guys do... it was outstanding. Very nice service“
“Service is always fabulous with waitress staff being attentive to breakfast needs. Food was sooo good, pancakes fluffy, home fries and eggs awesome . The sourdough bread is out of this world with the homemade strawberry jam.Dietary restrictions: Rays listens to customers needs to changing any item on the menu to address diet needs.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly always“
“Chicken Philly w/ cheese; added banana peppers & mushrooms ? Lots of seating, service was quick, prices reasonable & presentation on point. Bread to filing ratio was petfect and the sandwhich wasn't soagy or greasy- would definitely wander by again!“
“We wife and I decided to check out KIX on Main after searching for restaurants in the area. We decided on visiting after being impressed with the menu. I made reservations online, which was really easy. I liked that someone texted me to confirm we were still coming. Though we booked a table at the window, it was crowded and the man who greeted us offered to move us to the rooftop. We liked this a lot. The server was friendly and quick. My wife had Xan's Chicken French and I had KIX some balls. Both were delicious. We had wine from a local vineyard. Great that locals are sourced. All in all, we enjoyed the whole experience and will happily revisit when back in the area.“
“I love this place. I eat this food every day and it’s delicious every time. I could eat all three meals of the day here, every single day. the workers are usually very friendly and as someone who also works in the food industry i appreciate the good vibes from all the staff. i’ve never had a bad experience here. i have no complaints!!! you guys are killing it!“
“In town for a short visit and went here for breakfast. The exterior is dated but don't let that dissuade you! This place is excellent ! The hash browns with onions, raisin bread AND raisin bread French toast were particularly excellent. The bread is all homemade and so rare to find now at a restaurant - it is so amazing. Service is fast and friendly! Wide variety of breakfast and lunch options and some specials. Definitely worthy of the 4.6 rating. Atmosphere is local and decor is casual and aged but who cares if it's delicious, friendly, neighborly and a good value?!“
