“The best beer selection in town. A must-go for visitors. Great bartenders. Obviously the twisted tavern wings are amazing (undefeated best in the valley), and the mooshu egg rolls are delicious. But if it's Friday, always go for the beer battered fish fry. The side of veggies balances so well and they have perfect cole slaw.Edit to add: also very cool to look up the history of the tavern, originally called Hill's Tavern - amazing to realize people have been walking through that door for over 100 years!“
“Haven't been inside the building yet....9/10- UPDATE.....not terrible.. nice setting if you like the setup....me personally, not for me...don't like it... i like other dining hall better!! But, everyone's opinions are different....suit yourself!“
“We came to The Bronze for their first Brunch ever, where our friends from BeerPass were hosting Trivia. We live in Downtown Rochester so I was pretty excited about a trip out to a town that I don't frequent. We had checked out the menu before hand. Nice website, easy to navigate and view the menus they provide. When we got there we checked out the place, cool antique bottles from around the area in their display case, patterned accent wall with a fun neon sign illuminated in a pleasing contrast color, and multiple eating sections to enjoy whatever vibe you feel.Trivia was great, BeerPass works extremely hard on them and always delivers. Challenging and fun!The beer list, drafts and cans, was extensive and impressive. I chose a couple "Brunchy" type beers throughout the afternoon. A girl on our trivia teams chose a cocktail that changes colors based on the ingredients. Something you have to see for yourselves!! A blue drink that turns pink, whaaaaat? My partner had a signiture brunch Bloody Mary that had amazingly fresh horseradish. A crazy new experience as far as bloody mary's go! It was a hit.Now the food: Breakfast Burrito with battered fries and a light salad garnish, Steak and Root Veg Hash, and a new-to-them brunch creation a Dutch Baby pancake with fresh fruit and a raspberry curd that I am going to dream about. It was cooked perfectly and even held up over the afternoon as picked at everything while we played trivia. The Steak & Root Veg hash was savory, flavorful, and tender. Something different than "Corned beef hash" that I see frequently. The staff was fun, friendly, informative, and attentive. We had the best time, thanks for a great brunch afternoon!!“
“Sometimes you want delivery, but not the usual pizza or Chinese, and you don't want to deal with the gig delivery services and their fees. If you happen to be in these parts and are craving a burger, sandwich, hot dog, or a take on the locally famous "plates," University Hots has you covered. The food is good for college-friendly fare, and relatively inexpensive, and they employ their own delivery drivers and let you pay in cash when they arrive with your food. My burger was quite large and tasty, and the fries are a cut above other places I've eaten during this recent trip to New York to see family. Still hot and fresh, too, which is more than I can say for most Doordash-delivered food.University Hots serves a market that honestly, I wish more communities had a similar restaurant to serve. Because sometimes you just want a burger, you want it delivered, but you don't want to deal with the likes of Doordash or Uber Eats.“
“Giving this a 5 out of 5 for an Applebees. Best Applebees around. Trust me ... I went to the one in gates.... Yikes. Food came out quick, pretty, and hot and our waitress was very sweet. I don't remember her name but she was from cali. Omg and they had dollaritas today! Score!“
“So this is the peanut butter and jelly burger. Lots of bacon, burger cooked to perfection. It's a unique flavor. Everybody should try one. I'm pretty sure you'll either love it or I hate it, I don't think there's any in between. If you're looking for a restaurant where the food is a little outside the norm, this is your place. First time there, great weight staff definitely plan on going back. Cozy and comfy and not rushed.“
“We just attended our WNYMA banquet here this weekend. The venue was perfect. There was ample parking and a hotel next door. The food was good and the waitstaff was on top of their game. The bar staff were quick and friendly. The restrooms were big and clean. The lobby was nice and the large dancefloor was a hit. We had a great time.Parking: Ample parking for large parties. We had no trouble with our large party.Kid-friendliness: My kids tore upthe dancefloor. The bar offered plenty of cute drinks for the kids.“
“Last minute decision turned into a delightful evening. We had deviled eggs and red steamed shrimp to start. Southern Fish Fry and Steak & Frites for our dinner. Delicious food, wonderful service (ask for Sydney!!!) and a cozy atmosphere.“
“Hands down the best mozzarella sticks we’ve ever had. We both got clubs and they were fabulous as well, lots of meat. I’m not much for their homemade potato chips though but to each their own??♀️. Overall this place is CLEAN, the staff is fast and friendly, and the food is great.“
“Terrific service!! Excellent meal!! Had the Tempura Shitake Deep Fried Mushrooms with a Sesame Ginger Sauce and entrees were spot on. One complaint was we sat down to the table the glasses were dirty and unpolished water was still poured and served in them anyway.“
“My husband and I are soooo glad we stopped here. Tripadvisor reviews showed this place has great service; and they were not wrong. Great service, with personable staff - which makes a place all worth it! The food was really good as well. I do recommend the burgers (as mine was cooked perfectly to my liking). Overall, I'm thrilled with this little pub and would stop here again and again were I in the area. And really, chat up the hosts...such great ppl!“
“We stopped at Puppy’s on our way through town because we thought they might be dog-friendly— we were right. It may not be an official policy, but the staff was very accommodating getting us set up outside with our pup. Great food, better people. So glad we visited!“
“Karen should be known as "The Mayor" of Wadsworth! Her Wadsworth Grill is absolutely the BEST place to meet "new" (and old) good friends, to eat home cooked food, and to experience that "family" feeling!!! Once you stop at The Grill you'll always go back!!!“
“Finally had the chance to try a fish fry, it was hugge and perfectly cooked. Just can't say enough about the food here, if you haven't been here since the new ownership...do yourself a favor and give it a go! Dessert pretzels are a must! Bring the family in case you're wondering if it's a friendly atmosphere. They had a comedy night that was awesome, can't beat a salad bar, meal and entertainment for 30 bucks! Wings are amazing, sandwiches are great ? wraps are delish! Nothing I haven't enjoyed oh and cheap drinks ?Parking: If it looks packed, it's deceiving..... I've been here numerous times and thought Holy hell lol but then there's plenty of seating.Kid-friendliness: Bring the kids!“
“Soup AND Salad WITH Bread, in addition to your meal ... in one word, YUM! Upon entry, we felt like we were stepping into a different dimension and simpler times. Candlelit tables and dim sconces on the walls provided a warm, inviting vibe. Surprisingly, the server who greeted us knew us by name and warmly welcomed us to the National Hotel. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humor. The meal was coursed out perfectly and we enjoyed every bite. Stuffed mushrooms to start were piping hot and flavorful in a ramekin of butter. The hottest thing in Cuylerville was the freshly baked bread-in-a-bag! Perfect to get every morsel of mushroom soup out of our bowls. Usually you have to choose between soup OR salad, not here! We got a fresh greens garden salad following the soup! Our main entrées of steak were perfectly cooked to temp and tasted great with the red wine. The mashed potatoes were fluffy, flavorful and satisfying. Peanut butter and chocolate pie brought our experience to a close. To wrap up the evening, we got to thank the chef and her husband for an amazing dining experience. This is one of a kind gem and we look forward to our next visit. Bring a loved one, go for a special date night or just stop in to treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.“
“Great old style hamburger joint. Full of color and positive energy. Food menu was full of choices to satisfy every tastebud. The original and walhburger are still my favorites. Before you go make sure to check out the great coupon offers (simple Google search) you will happy at what you find. The meat sauce has its own special taste, not too hot and not too sweet, just the perfect blend of flavor to add to your burger or dip your fries into.“
“Dietary restrictions: They had gluten and dairy free options on the menu. Not labeled as such but knowing my allergy restrictions I was easily able to find something I could eat. The prime rib is absolutely amazing!!! I definitely recommend trying it! I got breakfast there as well and that was delicious!!!Parking: Nice open parking lot with plenty of parking in front for the hotel customers and restaurant customers. Parking is also available along side of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the bottom floor, double doors upon entry to the lobby. Tables are available to accommodate wheelchair seating.“
“My family and I had the pleasure of dining at the 3-legged pig this afternoon and it was wonderful. I had the pulled pork plate with cole slaw and salt potatoes. It was all delicious! I also took home half an order of ribs to enjoy tomorrow. Can’t wait to try them! The waitresses were very attentive and gave us all the time we wanted to enjoy or meal with the family. I would highly recommend them and, for the life of me, can’t understand how anyone could possible give them a bad review. Everything was great….including the 70’s music playing in the background. Hope I get the chance to come back again soon!“
“A nice break in the winter weather had us taking a drive in the country. We drove through Mt. Morris and stopped at High Bank Tavern for lunch. It was a terrific choice. I had the High Bank Burger, and my companion ordered the Beef on Weck. Sitting in the front window, watching traffic (and the sunshine) was a perfect place for a bite. Very tasty, and our server/bartender was super friendly. She was professional and very friendly. We're so glad we chose to stop here. ?“
“Unexpectedly wide selection is the Minnehan's thing. From turkey with stuffing to standard burger fare, there are great choices. The wait can be a little long, but that's the price you have to expect to pay when your food is cooked for you.“
“I'll be kind. Food had pretty good flavor. Service was very slow. The dining area was very hot, humid & smelled like fish. It was busy prior to us but slowed down, as did the waiting staff. There was only 3 families in the dining room and people who came in after us had their food served first. Staff was very kind. It's is a "Family Restaurant" so be sure you have time to sit and visit and enjoy your meal.Parking: Plenty of parking available.Kid-friendliness: Yes very. Huge coloring book section and they have high chairs & booster seats available.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a tight fit coming in the door a couple of very tight 90° turns to get in plus holding open doors.“
“This place is a local legend. I had the occasion to try it finally and I can see why. Friendly service, generous portions, reasonable wait time. I ordered a steak sub that was prepared just right - fixings were perfect, steak well-seasoned and juicy. Luckily they had an open table where I could hang out and enjoy my edible work of art! I thought the office was also on par and reasonable as well. I'll be back for sure.“
