A nice break in the winter weather had us taking a drive in the country. We drove through Mt. Morris and stopped at High Bank Tavern for lunch. It was a terrific choice. I had the High Bank Burger, and my companion ordered the Beef on Weck. Sitting in the front window, watching traffic (and the sunshine) was a perfect place for a bite. My daughter and I greatly enjoyed our lunch. We shared an order of poutine fries which were delicious. She had the fish fry which she enjoyed. I had a poutine Burger which was also excellent. The service was wonderful and I highly recommend the High Banks Tavern.

Very nice on main street bartender/server with blonde hair was fabulous! The corned beef in the ruban could have been better without grilling the meat ? but we will be back as we just bought property on the area!
