“I was blown away by the food ! I did a simple Google search of restaurants nearby and decided to pick this place thinking cute diner food will be average, so glad I was wrong. Everything was delicious was so shocked that a small place and in my "city" opinion in the middle of nowhere lol had probably some of the best food I've had. My mother got the chicken dumplings great flavor. I order the homemade meatloaf outstanding. My girlfriend order the Whipple plate I'm not sure what's on it but wow !! Loved it . Also order there French onion soup and me and girlfriend both agree probably top 1-2 we ever had and my girlfriend definitely orders it at every restaurant we go to haha. W been talking about already coming back since we started driving home haha . If near here definitely a must”

“Recently checked out this local option for take out chinese. What this plastic safety coated interior lacks in visual cheerfulness, the tasty food and friendly service easily overcomes.We enjoyed our crispy fried appetizers and heartier options while watching the superbowl.Will definitely visit again.”

“Their specialty pizzas are delicious ( but expensive ), service is always great, got a slice the other day and the sauce was a bit sweet for me but nothing too deterringKid-friendliness: The guy cut the pizza in half to make it easier for my toddler to have some. And he was so sweet with my boy too. Much appreciated.”

The atmosphere is a bit outdated but every corner is clean. This is a great local spot to stop for a hearty meal or light snack while you plan your busy day visiting the rich history of Avon or choosing your one of many local nature attractions. Try to make at the Avon Historian next door to the left. Everytime I visit I enjoy myself and learn a little more from the very engaging Historian!Kid-friendliness: Great family atmosphere for all ages!”

“Great old style hamburger joint. Full of color and positive energy. Food menu was full of choices to satisfy every tastebud. The original and walhburger are still my favorites. Before you go make sure to check out the great coupon offers (simple Google search) you will happy at what you find. The meat sauce has its own special taste, not too hot and not too sweet, just the perfect blend of flavor to add to your burger or dip your fries into.”

“We've loved J and Ts pizza even before they moved to retsof! They're food is delicious! Their Bleu cheese is THE BEST we've ever had! We sometimes order just a bunch of their Bleu cheese to go with a dinner were making at home! I also love that they're doing buffet lunches on Tuesdays and Fridays now. Been for both a Tuesday and a Friday buffet. Tuesdays they have chicken wings on the buffet and Fridays they have fish bites and shrimp!!! ? definitely going to be a regular afternoon lunch date place for my husband and I!”

“We love it here. We have gone several times and always have great service and yummy food. Yesterday there was a little bit of a mix up and our food took over an hour to arrive but the server recognized the error and credited half our bill and then when we were checking out the owner insisted on giving us a gift card for our next visit. I just want to say how I was impressed with the credit on the bill but to then offer an additional gift card went above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back. Everyone makes mistakes once in awhile and it spoke volumes that they owned it, apologized and made it more than right! Kudos to the entire staff here!!!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better meal or experience. We brought my father-in-law out for a belated Christmas gift meal, and it was everything I hoped for. We had filet mignon with scallops, the seafood platter and veal parmesan. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. We also got dessert: peanut butter pie, Snicker bar pie and key lime pie. Amazing again and Dad thought the key lime pie was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The service was excellent and the staff fun and attentive. Will definitely recommend and return.”

“Everything this bakery makes is incredible. The mountain bread is so soft and yummy, it’s so good with butter. I like it toasted but not even necessary. They have such a variety here and the selection changes often. My favorites are the apple fritters, fluffy sugar cookies and pies, but they have so much more. Lunch and soup too! The best part is that I can bring my kiddos and am always greater with smiles. Plus they have on several occasions filled last minute special orders for me. Really can’t say enough good things.
