“I’ve lived near scottsville for my entire life, and we order from marks probably twice a month, and the manager always grabs my pizza as soon as he sees me enter the door, doesn’t even need my name. Tonight I pulled into my spot and was responding to a text someone had sent me before getting out to go inside, when suddenly he was at my window with my pizza. Talk about curbside delivery! Always great customer service. Even in the big evening rushes I know I’m always taken care of as a regular.”

“We are from out of town but visit ROC frequently because our son plays on the Jr. Amerks Juniors/NAHL team. He and some teammates discovered this place and go there for lunch literally every day they have home games. This place is the best-family owned and operated, great food great prices, great service! Tiramisu is my favorite thing in the world and Mamma G’s tiramisu is the best I have ever had. Carlo is the bomb!”

“Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.”

“We ordered our desserts for our wedding from Cheesy Eddie's and they were delicious. We got a smaller cake for just us and we ordered a bunch of mini desserts for our guests. Price wise, the cake was probably a little more expensive than if we got a normal one from the store, but they also have a baker work with you when you place the order to get color options, flower options, and anything else that you want to make the cake as special as you want. Prices for the minis were pretty much exactly what you pay in the store. Our guests loved the minis and everything tasted great! There are special flavors that you can only get when you do a catering like this, and my only regret is I didn't order more of those flavors to put aside for us because we only got to eat our cake, the minis were devoured by the end of the night. They also delivered to our reception and made the whole process stress free. They did a great job with the desserts!”

“I have visited the tea shop in person and I’ve also bought from their online store, both experiences were amazing! The tea shop is so cozy and the tea is delicious! When I ordered online, the tea came quickly and came with an extra tea sample and a hand written thank you note! I am sure my husband and I will be repeat customers forever!”

“We drive 45 minutes for dinner every couple of weeks or as often as we can and it’s always worth it. There’s nothing bad on the menu. The wings are our favorite, the chicken salad is my 7 year old daughter’s go to. the subs, the cheeseburger plates, the pizza, all the condiments and sauces-just try it all. Do not forget the chocolate chip cookies either!”

“We decided to check out Shell for our anniversary dinner and it was just amazing. The atmosphere was quiet, dimly lit and classy. Great choice for a date night! We decided to make reservations at the bar due to the availability of seating in the main dining room. We loved sitting at the bar and watching the chef and his staff do their magic. They were friendly and professional yet fun too!

Our server Diana M was wonderful. She was so professional, polite, knowledgeable and attentive. She made us feel special and taken care of from the minute we sat down. She started by serving a complimentary Amuse Bouche to get started which was so unique and delicious. We then enjoyed some delicious oysters and great wine( wine list has some great offerings) We then chose the fish of the day which was seasoned grilled Swordfish with roasted zucchini and house made pickled roasted potatoes all sitting on a light and delicious saffron sauce - omg delicious! We can’t wait to go back to try some of the other delicious looking entrees, as well as the “Chefs 7 Course Tasting Menu” which was a great assortment of their menu options and very reasonably priced. The selections all sounded and looked amazing.

We would highly recommend Shell not only for the delicious food but for the incredible service and beautiful atmosphere. They don’t have a huge menu but they focus on making what they do offer the most delicious food you’ll have ! Go check them out for a special experience.”

Al Pastor tacos are the best of them all. Parking is not the best but there are spots on the surrounding streets. Will be back again and again.”
