“We had a great time and experience here at Petals. They have a great selection of food to order. We got the appetizer called the munchies. The appetizer called the munchies is the perfect combination of a little bit of everything on the appetizer menu all on one dish. The service was good and fast. The bartender was very friendly, attentive, and is very good at what he does. The atmosphere is very laid back lounge feel. Petals is inside the hotel. Both sides of Petals is very laid back.”

A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.”

“Pretty good food. Took me a few tries to reheat bc it's frozen, but I got the hang of it. The turkey meatballs are wonderful. Turns out I'm spending less for these meals than I paid at the grocery stores. I only have one issue, the chicken is always shredded and it dries out in the reheating process. Still trying to work that out. Delivery is free & timely. I'll keep buying.”

“We drive 45 minutes for dinner every couple of weeks or as often as we can and it’s always worth it. There’s nothing bad on the menu. The wings are our favorite, the chicken salad is my 7 year old daughter’s go to. the subs, the cheeseburger plates, the pizza, all the condiments and sauces-just try it all. Do not forget the chocolate chip cookies either!”

Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! “We decided to check out Shell for our anniversary dinner and it was just amazing. The atmosphere was quiet, dimly lit and classy. Great choice for a date night! We decided to make reservations at the bar due to the availability of seating in the main dining room. We loved sitting at the bar and watching the chef and his staff do their magic. They were friendly and professional yet fun too!

Our server Diana M was wonderful. She was so professional, polite, knowledgeable and attentive. She made us feel special and taken care of from the minute we sat down. She started by serving a complimentary Amuse Bouche to get started which was so unique and delicious. We then enjoyed some delicious oysters and great wine( wine list has some great offerings) We then chose the fish of the day which was seasoned grilled Swordfish with roasted zucchini and house made pickled roasted potatoes all sitting on a light and delicious saffron sauce - omg delicious! We can’t wait to go back to try some of the other delicious looking entrees, as well as the “Chefs 7 Course Tasting Menu” which was a great assortment of their menu options and very reasonably priced. The selections all sounded and looked amazing.

We would highly recommend Shell not only for the delicious food but for the incredible service and beautiful atmosphere. They don’t have a huge menu but they focus on making what they do offer the most delicious food you’ll have ! Go check them out for a special experience.”

“When we first moved to the area in January, we arrived to an apartment with a heater that wasn't working. It was the middle of a blizzard and we needed somewhere to weather out the storm a bit before heading to a hotel for a night. Shiki was there for us.

When the woman serving us heard that we were without heat or power in the middle of the blizzard, she offered to let us stay in the restaurant as long as we needed -- even long after close until they were ready to head home.

When we had our food, the ramen was the perfect way to thaw us out and make us feel right at home and safe in a community which cares about its people. We've since come back for gyoza, katsu, and sushi and all of them have been incredible.

The food? Amazing. The service? Incredible. Shiki has earned a lifelong fan and customer. I love them.”
