In my opinion this is the epitomie of a great countryside bar in rural New York State. I've experienced friendly service, excellect food, cocktails and craft beers. Plus it's family owned and operated. No better way to support small business in NY.
First time here, great place for dinner! Good beer selection (full bar, but we just wanted beer), decent specials, good portions. Just happened upon the place as we were heading back home to Buffalo from an even in Rochester, though apparently it's been here for years. They are clearly doing something right since the place was packed! Despite being busy, service was friendly and attentive. We will keep this place in mind next time we're out that way.

Nothing says Friday like an excellent fish fry! The place was packed out. Routine occurrence on Fridays so if you are going on Friday reservations are recommended. I can endorse whole heartedly the breaded fish fry. It was well prepared and the kitchen was turning tables quickly. I would definitely come here again.
