We don't live close but heard good things about the food so we took a drive. The service and the food was top notch. I couldn't believe the size of the portions, honestly. We couldn't even finish half our meals. I would recommend getting there by 4-4:30. We left at 6 and the place was packed.

I like this place but why do they serve a chicken parm with vegetables.I’m not Italian but that just seems like a Cardinal sin.Good food, mid service, amazing vibes.

Excellent dining experience with a BIG BUT and small complaint. We’ve been there on a number of occasions but on our last visit everything, all of a sudden, was a la carte. Normally entrees at an Italian eatery come with pasta of some sort but at Villagio a side dish of spaghetti costs $7.95 which in my opinion is somewhat excessive when meals are in the $35 range. Maybe they think they’re a steak house.In addition, gratuities must be in cash and you don’t find this out until you get the bill. (Put this on the menu)Will miss going here but my wallet won’t.

Service is terrible! 45 minutes to get an appetizer which was terrible. It was cold and lacked taste. 1 person taking food orders. They charged us 38 for each martini. To add insult they didn't even offer free coffee or dessert for the terrible service. 3.99 surcharge for credit cards and tips are required to be in cash (I hope they claim the income). I would never go back to this place they are so many better places to eat in my opinion like Dennys.

The service is terrible!! 90 minutes and no appetizers yet the couple that just walked in was served because they knew the waitress. Bread ok but then again that's all we have so far. Finally to add insult there is a 3.99 % credit card fee and a stamp on the bill that all tips are to be in cash. Also, the restaurant didn't even offer free dessert for the awful experience. BTW we paid 38.00 for an espress martini.

This is my new favorite Italian spot! I picked up take-out for the family and the service was great. They even threw in a complimentary bottle of wine. The Sorentino was to-die-for. My wife's Chicken Parm was best we've ever had. I can't wait to go back!
I haven’t been to this gem in Babylon Village since pre Covid and I’m not sure why… well I’m so glad I went back. Had an absolutely delicious meal here. The calamari and shrimp oregonata is perfection! Cannot wait to go back!

My husband and I always have a good experience here. It's very cozy inside and always clean. The service is attentive, and everyone who works there is kind. The food is good. I love their house salad dressing. Warm bread to start. Very solid dishes all around. The fried olives appetizer is surprisingly delicious. It's great when they open the windows in the summer. Overall a really nice place in the Village.

Highly recommend Cafe IL Villagio in Babylon. My Eggplant Toscana was AMAZING, and my husband said the same about his codfish Portofino. The Italian cheesecake and tartufo were yummy! I love the seemingly all female staff at this family owned restaurant. I was told the husband is chef and wife is the sous chef. Be sure to make a reservation!! We didn't but got very lucky because we walked in about 5:15pm. Couple after couple were turned away after us as they had no reservation. We are definitely going back!
