Whent to a doctor visit, and asked the nurse for a good place to eat. She recommended Gemelli, I've been to many Italian food places, however this one was over the top,I loved their selection and the service was great, and the food was very good. Can't wait to go back for my next doctor's appointment so I can visit Gemelli again.

Great Sauce makes their lasagna, veal and chicken parmigiana so tasty! Serious beef, pork and chicken butcher shop with cooked appetizers, sides, pies, antipasti that are G-O-O-D! And the best Italian bread choices around. Without hesitation, one of the Top Three Italian markets in Suffolk County.

I love shopping at Grmelli's.

Are you kidding? $12.99 + tax for 3 slices of roast beef thinly sliced on a roll? Should be ashamed. As a Babylon village resident, this will be the last time I go here.

They suckI asked for two chicken cutlets to take out and an arugula salad. When I returned home within 10 min of leaving, I opened the bag to reveal two dried up shriveled hard as a rock cutlets. They could not be consumed. The arugula salad was not an arugula salad but a pasta salad of sorts with so much vinegar on it u I couldn't eat it.I called and no pick up of phone.Closed one hr early.Rip off

It's not the first time this happened and I'm going to keep my opinion why to myself but the service here has been horrible. I can't count how many times I'm waiting and I get skipped for my order. So I'm skipping this spot for any of my deli needs.

Love Gemelli, especially their catering. They are our go-to for heroes and salads. Their Gemelli fresh sliced turkey is delicious. Customer service is great, too! We always get compliments!!

Oh, LORD, I'll wind up weighing 1000 lbs if/when I move back to NY after my "lean" (ha!!) years here in Ohioooooo!! ESPECIALLY if I continue to frequent all the wonderful places like this, unheard of in my "neck of the woods," and causing me the temptation to order one (or more!) of everything they have to offer!!My sister and I walked in after a meeting in surprisingly cute, bustling downtown Babylon, planning to get a few things for an impromptu picnic in nearby Argyle Park. Even my "die hard" NY sister was surprised by the wonderful/overwhelming array of choices that greeted us as soon as we ventured in the door. We wound up sharing a DELICIOUS grilled veg hero, a couple of awesome side salads (eggplant and tomato mix and a marinated cucumber, tomato and onion mix) and a yummy (but totally overindulgent) sausage and pepper roll, which got taken home, along with a delicious fresh, crispy loaf of bread. WONDERFUL choice for a quick-ish bite, dinner when you don't feel like cooking, or for planning a FEAST, this is a great place, and (secretly...) I'm happy there's nothing even in the same UNIVERSE back home in small-town Ohioooooo, because it's just tooooooooooo gooooooood!!! MANGIA!!! :-)

The treatment we received at Gemelli's this past week was beyond disgraceful! Our father passed away, and having been long time customers of Gemelli's, we went to them to cater his Celebration of Life. We went over the menu and options to go over with the family. Less than an hour later, we returned to place the order. We were in the middle of placing the order when my brother attempted to enter the store. "Mr. Gemelli" was locking the door 5 minutes before closing, and very rudely told my brother he couldn't come in. My brother explained he was with the party placing the large order. Mr Gemelli said he didn't care, and that he was going to kick us out as well.Needless to say, Gemelli's will never get another dime from us,. Go across the street to Mulberry Street. They were kind, and did a beautiful job.

Everything at the deli tastes exactly the same. You can get the pasta salad, the quinoa, the couscous or the orzo salads and they're all the same. Same. Same. Same chopped onion, add some chickpeas. dice some peppers, throw on olive oil. It's pathetic really. They used to be excellent - but they went significantly down hill. I don't know what happened to the kitchen, but it's horrible. Might as well cook my own food. Not worth it.
