I heard this coffee shop was good from social media and I wanted to try it. My husband and I wanted to sit there and make it a nice morning since we live somewhat far from it, but when we arrived there were 3 dogs, a golden retriever and 2 other medium sized dogs (not service dogs from the way they were roaming around) A couple times I saw the golden retriever put its front paws on the counter. As someone who is allergic I couldn’t sit in there longer than 20 minutes without a sneezing fit and we had to leave. The space is also small so it’s pretty gross having dog hair in a place that sells food. I asked the cashier if this was normal and he said it’s hard to keep them out or something. If you’re allergic to dogs, don’t go here

Good drinks but usually a hit or miss.
Every time I come around there are nice baristas or ones that are not. I walked in on March 1st with a friend, go to the register and two blonde girls chatting, completely ignored us while we stood there. Then the other barista who was busy stopped doing his task to help us. And it’s no big deal but the fact that they dismissed customers like that, makes me not want to come by and it’s not the first time I get that feeling from their staff. Nice ambiance and community art around otherwise. Their matcha is good too.

I go to JJ’s a lot. Best coffee in town and the All day egg sandwich is usually very good, but today, August 24th, it was the best I ever had there. The cook was on point today!

They still have vegan milk alternatives but the only vegan food on the menu is avocado toast
Love this coffee shop! They always have great coffee - seasonal drinks - they make their own mocha and caramel sauces which are delish and will customize drinks with cold foam and such! Their all day egg sandwich is the best egg sandwich around and their other sandwiches/salads are so good! Their pastries are also great and their magic cookie bar is the best! Usually always find a place to sit and get some work done or place to sit with the kids even if it's crowded - definitely a great local spot!
