Kotobuki Babylon speaks for itself. The food is always great. Everyone I know all agree that the spicy tuna avacado salad is the best ever. No one makes it like they do. Its sliced Tuna, sliced avacado, razor thin cucumber slices, asparagus, and spicy cream dressing. I say if you have a problem with this salad the problem is with you. Awesome. They are pretty fast there too. Seating can get tight on Friday and Sat night. I miss living so close to this spot!

I have ordered over $300 and $400 worth of food from this place and today I forgot to add on the eel sauce they don’t even have the decency to just Add a few at no cost That is greedy and last time I’ll order anything from that place According to the manager, the Owner told them to charge Just for a simple eel sauce

I’m a loyal regular at the Babylon location, so I’m honestly pissed and really disappointed writing this. My take-out order on 11/4/25 had a sharp piece of clear plastic inside one of the rolls. I almost swallowed it, stopped immediately, took photos, saved the plastic piece, and threw the rest of the food out because I was grossed out.
What made it worse: I reached out twice. DM’d the restaurant on Instagram and submitted a message through the website with my name, order details, and photos. No response from anyone. No apology, no explanation, no refund. For a place I’ve supported for years, that silence is unacceptable.
This is a serious food safety issue and a customer-service failure. Mistakes can happen, but the way you handle them matters. Please take responsibility, review your prep/packaging process, and communicate with customers when something goes wrong.
I’ve recommended this spot to so many people, but after this experience I won’t be ordering again unless I know this has addressed.

Ate here for the second time last night...loud (crowded full on a Friday night) but we were still able to hear each other. Food has been very good both times...very fresh, very tasty. Best miso soup I've ever had, but shumai was bland. We polished off two special rolls -- Holy Tuna and American Dream -- and thoroughly enjoyed them. I had the pomegranate cocktail and would have loved another but I am on Weight Watchers now, lol! Service was courteous but split between the servers, and rushed due to the crowd, but everything came quickly with precise artistry and the hot foods were served good and hot...no complaints at all about the food quality, which is why this place has such a great reputation. Of course, we'll come again!
