The backroom is really nice and bright but the tables are very close together. I got the apple orchard turkey sandwich which sounded really good but was unfortunately pretty dry. The menu does feel kind of too big. The fries were really good though! Also got a Bloody Mary and I expected so much better from a brunch place…no garnishes and my first sip off the top was straight vodka. The rest of the mix wasn’t so good either. Service was okay.

I don't usually take the time to write a review about a dining out experience no matter how bad, but this was by far one of the worst experiences ever. Friday night pretty empty no kind of welcoming greeting , no kind of wait staff, other than a young man and woman and two kitchen helpers. Food prep and presentation was poor to say the least, but then I'm not surprised seeing I viewed other pictures and reviews concerning the so called marinated steak.I Really should have followed my wife's suggestion to just leave but here's the absolute most unbelievable part of this whole terrible ordeal. As I'm receiving the check at the bar from the young man and expressing my displeasure with the whole experience, my eyes focus in on the kitchen swinging doors where I witnessed a shaven head gentleman with a stream of smoke coming out of both his nostrils and mouth, as the doors swing closed this same person looks side eyed out the circular kitchen door window and proceeds to place what appears to be some black vape device or something to his mouth. As I'm in disbelief of what I just witnessed I asked the young man ringing me up who this person was to which he responded the sous chef or chef. I sarcastically commented was smoking or vaping a part of this establishments protocol especially for the cooks chef and kitchen staff. YOU SHOULD BE TOTALLY ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES AND TRUTHFULLY REPORTED TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!! I AM NOT DESIROUS OF A RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW FROM YOU MACK (OWNER). JUST PROTECT THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF HARD WORKIN PATRONS WHO GIVE YOU THEIR TRUST AND MONEY FOR A DECENT MEAL.
Have been going since they opened.
Food is always great, and a creative menus makes it unique in the village.

Pretty surprised by the so-so reviews. My chicken and waffles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch old fashioned were tasty. The menu has good variety and it’s a solid American restaurant.

I attended Mack’s yesterday for dinner and 80’s music bingo! We had a blast and the food was delicious!
We saw Mr. Lobster advertising on the curb and had to give it a try. We ordered the warm butter lobster roll special and it was DELISH! 2 for $39.99 - can’t beat it! And the specialty cocktails were a nice compliment.

I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have higher ratings cause wow!!!!!! Breakfast was amazing, my boyfriend and I both got different Benedict’s, his came with lox and avo and mind cheddar and bacon and WOW! The amount of lox and bacon was crazy. And the hash browns??? I’m going to be dreaming about them. We also shared the blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes and they were HUGE and so tasty.. The servings are worth the price! Very cutie decorations and the servers were very kind.

Food was horrible. Place is empty on a Sunday. Came once before and it was bad, decided to give it another try. Told the waitress food wasn’t good and nothing came off bill either. I’m not kidding when I say INEDIBLE!

Would give less than a star if i could… first off walked in and there was a leak from the ceiling dripping into a foil pan, that should have been sign .. my friend ordered the Arthur avenue chicken sandwich and the chicken was completely RAW. We let the waitress know and she acted very non chalant about it. We ended up leaving couldn’t stomach eating anything else knowing this place served visibly raw food. First time going here and now last. Avoid this place if you can plenty of other places in Babylon to check out.

Went there twice for breakfast...couldn't get in either time...door locked...lights out...so far not liking it...won't be going back!!!
We ate at Mack's last night for the first time. The Burger Happy Hour special brought us in. Normally, we eat burgers down the road. Burger special was one of 4 burgers and a brew for $20. Not a bad deal.
I really liked the atmosphere, very open and airy in the back room.
Service was very friendly and timely.
However, there were only 3 beers (and 2 other things) on tap, and the beer we had was flat, but honestly, not flat enough to prevent us from having a second beer.
The burgers were nothing to write home about. Seemed they were originally frozen and not fresh. just meh. HOWEVER, the french fries were amazing, as were the wings.
The french fries were seasoned but not over seasoned and not crazy salty, which is rare when encountering seasoned fries. And the wings were fried without any breading so they were well cooked and crispy! Just loved the crispy wings and the buffalo sauce was spicy and good.
They seem to have a pretty decent vegan menu, and the brunch offerings look tasty.
I'll go back, I just won't have a burger and beer. Rather I'm looking forward to trying the avo sandwich from the vegan menu!
When I actually go back, I'll repost and see if I can increase my star rating which is low because of the just meh beer and the just meh burger.
Vegetarian options: They have vegan offerings.
Dietary restrictions: They were more than happy to meet the restrictions of our dairy allergy son.
Bland food, extremely overpriced, I feel robbed, coffee was mediocre, too many items on the menu… the place was empty when I came.

How is a chicken Cesar salad 22 dollars when the chicken was a lemon, vinegary chicken ON TOP of a Cesar dressing that is not homemade nor creamy, but again, a vinaigrette? Additionally, a large, specialized ice coffee at a cafe is 6 or 7 dollars; here, it is 8 and although somewhat tasty, not worth it. Likewise, on the menu, it says that two eggs added to avocado toast are 2 dollars. I ordered soft boil eggs on my avocado toast, but it came with poached eggs. Instead of complaining, I told her it’s no problem and ate it. When the bill came, there was a 6 dollar charge for poached eggs. The owner said that’s how much two eggs cost. For 80 dollars (for 2 people) not worth it.
