If this was in Manhattan, it would be recognized as one of the best designed, best operated restaurants in the City. Wonderful and creative food and unbeatable atmosphere.

From the first moment you step in this restaurant the personel give you a great feeling. Very friendly team, it is a friendly restaurant to enjoy with friends and colleagues or with your date. delicious food, skillful chef de cuisine, reasonable cost and nice service. Warmly recommended.

One of my favorite places in LI! Upscale place with great drinks. My favorite was the white sangria we didn't have food but it looks good from other reviews. Highly recommend

Came to Monsoon for one of our pharm rep dinners with my other medical residents. Ambiance warm and welcoming from the beginning. We had a three course meal prepped for us with select choices. I began with the shrimp & lobster wonton, chicken bibb wrap and rock shrimp tempura - well made and tasty, my fav would be the wontons. For my main course I had the skirt steak which was cooked medium rare - it was juicy and tender. Finished it off with dessert of a nice thick junior chocolate cake. Service, food and ambiance were definitely good. Would definitely enjoy coming back to try more on their menu!

I have been here a few tims and the service and food were comparable to the price that they get. Mostly expensive and curtious.Last visit I let the waiter know we had a certifacate for $20..twords our meal and wanted to use this before it expired. After looking at the menue HE suggested the daily special and so we ordered. When we were done we presented the certificate and tried to pay the balance only to be told YOU CAN NOT USE THIS CERTIFICATE ON SPECIALS.. So O.K. no problem...Our 2 drink each bar tab was more then the $20.00 so I told him to apply it to that..at this point its really not about saving $20. its about not letting it expire without using it. Well we were told that cant be done. So I asked for a manager to help resolve this. Now mind you our total lunch bill was over $100. The MANAGER then proceeded to tell me and I quote " I was trying to pull a fast one and get over on him" As you could imagine ..I had a few words to say. We left immediatly..paid the horrifed waiter the bill (he did not know what to do) and left. I will NEVER go back.

Great place for young people (21 - 35).

I have a small baby at home so we never get to go to the restaurant in person, always order through Uber eats. I’ve ordered from this place over FORTY times in the last two years, sadly the last two times the taste, portions and presentation have been pretty bad.

I regularly arrive getting some food in this place. I enjoy the prompt customer service and well cooked dishes. Keep up the good work.

I don't remember our waitress name but she was the young lady with red hair. She wasn't very friendly and when my friends order was messed up she argued with him and said he was wrong. She wasn't that attentive and seemed like she didn't want to be bothered with us

Dined here for the first time as it's a bit of a drive for us. We had dinner on a recent Wednesday Night (half price wine by the glass which was a great surprise) - We were one of just a few people in both the bar and downstairs front part of the restaurant. Enjoyed a great french martini at the bar and sat down for a quiet dinner for 2. Food and service was excellent. Our server was prompt and knowledgeable and Tim the manager spoke to us often and was interested in our experience. Even received a great chocolate cake and got to hit the gong for my birthday(interesting). The ambiance in the bar is amazing, however I felt the front dining room decor was lackluster and too bright at best. I was surprised that after such a grand entrance the decor was pared back so dramatically in this room. The back dining room looked much nicer and I was told the upstairs area was also stunning. Next time I hope to dine there to complete the experience. All in all it was excellent and will be back.

Monsoon is like a really bad relationship. It looks amazing on the outside and seems to have a lot to offer, but it's just a facade. It will leave a bad taste in your mouth & a bad feeling in you gut. A waste of time & money. I paid $29 for 6 ice cube sized chunks of rubbery, overcooked meat, drenched in a salty sea of near-black sauce over a tablespoon of stale rice. The star is for the waitress- she was very sweet.
