This has been my beach for 58 years. I've seen the beach grow. I've seen the beach shrink. I've seen play items. Come and go. It's a great beach. It's protected by the Robert Moses sand bar. The food is good and fairly priced for being at a beach. They've added a bar area and it looks good. I'm not a drinker so I wouldn't know. The best thing they've added is closed showers. You can wash off and more showers outside to rinse feet. I love the upstairs area when I go in the winter it's protected, but you still get to enjoy the beach.

I love this spot! It truly is a hidden gem of the TOB park system. My wife myself and my son go almost every weekend and haven't even gone to the other ocean beaches. They have a basic beach food stand and a bango bowl açaí shop attached. The only thing missing would be a stand or shop that sells beach stuff ( equipment, sun block, beach toys chairs ect...)

Nos encantó este sitio. El estacionamiento es privado, pero puedes estacionarte al lado. Excelente sitio para descansar, jugar voleibol, fútbol y otros deportes. Tiene un parque espectacular para los niños. Y el restaurante ofrece comida rápida pero de buena calidad

Staff is always super nice.. even to cranky customers and spoiled little kids who definitely do not deserve it My family is the type to bring our own food to the beach.. but at Overlook we don't even bother! They make really good food and drinks so spending the $$ is worth it. I'm obviously old enough to drink but their virgin piña coladas are crazy good and I get one every single time I come!

Lovely day! Weather perfect and beach was clean as was the restroom and food service areas. People respectful of spacing on beach and social distancing indoors. ?

Amazing fishing a lot of food selections and nice clean beach.
I love overlook but to be perfectly honest I get turned off by the excessive seaweed in the water and when those horse flies are around that sucks as well. Despite that it is an awesome family friendly beach that I would recommend
