I went to this SoBol on a Sunday around 12:50pm with my parents (senior citizens) and sister (total party of 4) We were the only ones there at the time. I needed to ask for a cleaning spray so I could MYSELF clean the table that we were going to sit on as the place was a mess (pieces of coconut, straw wraps and honey on the table). We also asked for the bathroom key and had to wait for a little while even though there weren't that many people there while we were waiting for our order. Acai bowls were pretty tasty as usual but left a bad taste in my mouth due to the bad customer service I received so I will NOT be coming back to this SoBol location.
Update: Upon reading other reviews below, this is pretty common customer service at this location.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I have been going there for years but they have officially lost a customer after this morning. I placed an order through their app for 9:15, my husband arrived to pick it up at 9:25 and they claimed they ‘remembered making it but someone had already picked it up’. Ok, understood maybe someone did. Mistakes are made, annoying but it happens.
The way it was handled after was absolutely unacceptable. He was sitting around for 20 minutes waiting for it to be remade. When he finally went to ask about the status, he was told they have to ask to ask the manager if they can remake it???? Which is not what was originally said to him. He at that point didn’t have the time to wait for the manager, so he had to leave. The lack of communication was unappreciated.
I called and got the manager, who was extremely rude and claimed none of this was said (my husband had me on speaker phone so I heard them say verbatim that they remember making it but must have given it away and will have to remake it). And that their policy is they CANNOT remake things and my only option is to call my credit card company.
Horrible customer service. They have lost a loyal customer. There’s plenty of other açaí bowl companies in Babylon now who treat their customers better.

I ordered the waffle package and it was cold, hard and crunchy. I bought a Snapple took a sip and it tasted terrible. I looked at the date and it expired December 19 2024, 6 months ago. When I went back in to tell them, the girl went in the back for 10 minutes. There was no one in the store and they weren't making anything. They use to be great. How disappointing.

I just ordered from here, the cashier had gloves on, handled my money and then proceeded to make my smoothie without changing her gloves. This is a major violation of food handling safety protocols. Food prep cannot be done with gloves that handled money.
What made it worse was that in the middle of making my smoothie, the person who was waiting on me used the same gloved hands to help the other worker hold a garbage can down. I asked if they were planning on changing gloves after touching the garbage can and this struck them as a completely insane request. I was told that the one who was making my food didn't touch the garbage inside, only the outside of the garbage can, which is probably worse than had she touched the stuff in the can.
They offered to remake my smoothie. The cashier/smoothie maker was told by the other girl to remake my smoothie with new gloves. I didn't see her change the gloves. So I walked out. Even if she would have changed her gloves, there was no way I was going to eat anything from this location if this is how they handle food prep.
Pretty grossed out by the whole experience. This was the first time I ever went to a SoBol, it will be the last.

“I usually enjoy my trips to SoBol, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. I’m a frequent visitor, and I decided to try their iced coffee. Unfortunately, it tasted incredibly watered down, almost like I was drinking flavored water rather than coffee. When I brought it up with the staff, I was told that it’s ‘supposed to taste like that because it has ice.’ I’ve had plenty of iced coffees elsewhere, and they certainly don’t taste this diluted. I was hoping for a flavorful, refreshing coffee, but it just didn’t deliver. I’d love to see improvements here, as SoBol has the potential to be much better.”

Very friendly staff! However got home and my boyfriend pulled two long black strands of hair out of his MOUTH while he was eating his. Actually disgusted , the hair was literallymixed into the bowl, enjoy at your own risk

The actual acai bowl I got was good but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. The workers were rude and awkward. It seems to be common amongst other reviewers also to feel that staff is rude. I even on the way out said thank you, the acai bowl was great and to have a nice day and I didn't even get a look in my direction. ?♂️
Dietary restrictions: I didn't fully understand the need to ask my reasoning for asking to make my bowl without something on it? Like what does it matter if I'm allergic or if it's a preference.
