Tried to go for trivia today and made a reservation. My friend called and spoke with someone who confirmed our reservation. We arrive to an extremely unapologetic hostess saying that they overbooked due to their new reservation system (apparently calling on a phone is a new reservation system?) and had no tables. We planned our night around this and now missed out on any 7pm trivia's. Thanks for wasting our time and ruining what was supposed to be a fun night. Will not go back

I had the best steak salad of my life !! I added steak to their Chopped salad, and it was cooked to perfection and could cut it with a butter knife, and the candied bacon was also great addition to the salad .. but cannot go without mentioning our server Haley, who was amazing and went above and beyond. Thank you !!

Best watering hole closest to the station. Very good staff especially considering how busy this place regularly gets. About 12 regional and local beers on tap on any given day with frequent changes. The Guinness is quite good. Top notch Bistro and Pub food.
The pierogi appetizer and short rib taquitos were absolutely craveable! Fresh, delicious and awesome presentation. Excellent music and vibe and a great G&T. Definitely recommend.
If you were born before 1980, don't bother coming here. The staff was rude when they were not ignoring us. The first round of beer was okay, but on the second, the beer tasted like the glasses weren't rinsed out completely. When I went to the bar to tell them (since the waitress was ignoring us, we had to get our own drinks), the bartender pretty much blew me off. I barely got to say "This beer tastes funn...". We left, paying for beers that were undrinkable. Unless I can go back to being 25 again, I will never set foot in The Local again

Went around 2pm on a Friday. I had the tuna poki bowl. It was very good! The house pilsner was also tasty. Open layout, lots of sun and lighting but not overly hot. Will return for a night at the bar!

Just returned from the city and wanted to grab a beer before heading home. My uncle recommended "The Local" right next to the train station. I appreciated the train station décor inside and the interesting variety of beers on tap. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. However, the place feels a bit sterile—it doesn't feel as comfortable or cozy as I'd hoped.
