JV HOT BAGELS (Baldwin Place, Mahopac)

We ordered a bagel with cream cheese and an egg sandwich on doordash. Only the egg sandwich arrived. When I called they fought me saying they put it in the bag. The bag was stapled shut when it arrived. I eventually hung up because I was afraid how they would treat a replacement and doordash provided a refund.

They lost a customer fighting me. Never again.

Just another bagel shop like many other bagel shops

The cream cheese is rancid
Especially when it is with lox or any additional flavors
This was not the first time
But many terrible experiences
The staff is not helpful when there is a complaint

Raw chicken… unacceptable!

I was pretty disappointed in my experience here. This was probably the saddest, blandest egg and cheese bagel I’ve ever encountered.

The best bagel I’ve ever had in my entire life resides from JV Bagels. I got a sesame toasted with strawberry cream cheese and I’ve never made a better decision in my life. Go here. Or you will be so sad.

Good sandwiches, but the attention from some Hispanic girls is very bad. When the owner is there, they are kind and alone and give bad service.

Charge me eight dollars for a bagel that has one slice of ham in it and one egg lol I got my money back thankfully. If you’re from nyc just pass this by

I ordered an everything bagel extra toasted with extra strawberry cream for 3.95. Barely tasted Strawberry mostly tasted cream cheese. Bagel tasted fresh and soft as if it was baked in house. Thats why I asked extra toasted I like a crunch when I bite into the bagel not sure if she misunderstood. GOOD= More than enough cream cheese. Not how I like it still good BAD=Flavor of Strawberry cream cheese, Bagel not toasted how I like it

Just ordered a bagel with lox and cream cheese and for $12 there is barely 1 slice of lox on the entire bagel. Second time this has happened here - avoid.

Everytime i come in this place i never get greeted . Staff will ignore you. Time and time again i have this same issue . I walk in and stand there and watch other people get their orders taken before me . Not a hi a hello not a word . Super rude and unhelpful . It’s unfortunate that a bad staff will prevent me from coming back as the foods pretty decent . I’ll try another location instead of this one.

Lots of selections to choose from besides bagels. Today I grabbed a quick bagel and muffin. I paid cash and good thing i asked for my receipt as i was charged as paying with credit card. There was no sign by the register about this. The sign was near the seating area. The law has changed and you HAVE to show cash n credit card prices. I advise people to check their receipts for over charges like this.
