“I stopped by “That No Good Burger Joint” for lunch yesterday and extremely surprised at the customer service and the menu filled with options. I ordered a triple smash cheeseburger with the fries and washed it all down with 2 flat tires. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friend and family and would plan to go back soon. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were just right. The server was extremely attentive and made sure my and my cousin were well taken care. I would give this restaurant a 10/10 no question.“

“It was my first time trying Empanada Queen, a food truck in Baldwin, and overall, it was a decent experience. They had a deal for 10 empanadas for $28, so I decided to try a variety. I went with shrimp, beef, chicken, and mac and cheese empanadas. The flavors were all pretty tasty, with the shrimp, beef, and chicken being the standouts. However, I wasn’t a fan of the mac and cheese one—it just didn’t have the right texture or flavor I was expecting.

The wait time was short, which was a nice surprise, especially since it was freezing outside! I was glad to have the car to wait in while the food was being prepared.

One thing to note is that the outer shell of the empanadas was quite hard, which made them a bit tough to bite into. On the positive side, the fillings themselves were flavorful. The only other downside was that they only offer one sauce, which had a bit of spice to it. While I didn’t mind it, I wish there were a few more sauce options to choose from.

I'd still recommend it if you're in the area and craving empanadas.“

“it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

“I ordered one day when they weren’t open and they were nice enough to accommodate me the next time I visited. I got the plant based burger w the fries and let me tell you… it was amazing! I’m veganish cause I have yet to find vegan cheese that gives me the feeling dairy cheese does lol but they gouda…*chefs kiss* I’ll be back soon to give the empanadas a try.Great people and food…definitely a vibe and worth it.“

“I've tried halal all over the island, and they don't even compare to the places in the city. I just tried this place yesterday while in the area. This was not only the best I've ever had on LI but it honestly beats anything I've had in the city as well. Huge portion, cheap price, and friendly workers. My combo plate was enough for two meals. “So I will say I was skeptical. As a southerner we often think there's no good barbecue outside of the South. However I was pleasantly surprised with this spot! The ribs were fall off the bone tender. As a bit of a BBQ enthusiast I tend to avoid cooking mine that way but I must say the ribs here are good and the sauce was tasty! The Owner (I assume) was very pleasant, and it was great exchange while I waited. He gave me a whole heap of ribs and could barely close the container!! Service was prompt and I would definitely recommend this as a stop for lunch if you're in the area! Just make sure you bring your appetite!“

“YOU HAVE TO TRY ZAHID’S HALAL FOOD!! The best halal food I have ever had. Juicy chicken and lamb with perfectly seasoned rice.. goes great with the white and hot sauce. The service was great, my food was prepared exactly to my likings. Food and service are incomparable to other halal spots. Don’t just take my word for it, try it yourself ;)“

“Used to get this a lot when I moved to Elmont for a bit. After moving I traveled back to this spot just because the food here is that good. The owner is super friendly and the seating area is both convenient and brings a certain vibe to the experience you can really enjoy with a friend or two. Would recommend this place ??“
