This review is from the POV of a midweek 1pm lunch. 4 stars awarded for a pub-like experience. First impressions: Ample bar space, lots of options on tap. New menu released the day we arrived: The burger and sandwich we chose were tasty. We upgraded from chips to the garlic fries that tasted good… but to be clear I didn’t appreciate any garlicy taste but I wasn’t upset by this because *we were famished* and we love all fries. Food from ‘ordering to table’ was timely, not too fast and not too slow—just right. 1911 cider on tap was crisp and fresh, fiddle head ipa for my partner was reportedly also good quality. [[Neurodivergent review: things I liked: staff were direct, attentive, and not overly talkative— it was good balance. We changed our mind on seating two times and I didn’t detect any weird vibes about us being choosy (outside was too hot, dining room had lots of children and was too loud, bar was just right). Things I was less fond of: Settling at the bar, I noticed I could hear the tables conversation 40 feet away clearly and their noise was echoing around the room… this was distracting but not quite over stimulating. The music was technically too loud for me, and was very loud, and therefore overstimulating, for my partner. This was unfortunately the reason we didn’t stay for a second brew after our meal. We wanted to have another drink but between the cackles of the gals enjoying themselves echoing on the walls and the three-ticks-too-loud music… it was time to go. And that’s fine! We were satisfied! All that said: We would be willing to return *if we’re on this side of town again during a similar timeframe (in order to avoid the evening rush because I can imagine it gets raucous).]]

We just purchased a house in the area and came after closing for lunch. Safe to say we’ve found our local go to! Food is INCREDIBLE and service was fantastic. Will definitely be back!!

Poorly managed and overrated. I have called on more than one occasion and been given a wait time of 2-3 hours. It’s the only restaurant I know that can’t efficiently accommodate takeout.

Angry Garlic was a terrific visit for a Sunday date night! The service and atmosphere were exceptional! Our waitress Nicole was very kind and helpful. The only thing I wish was just a tiny bit better was the meat for my sandwich which was just a little dry, but I have only been there once, so I'll have to go again and give it another chance! Ultimately, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Syracuse area!

I came in for dinner and my daughter was served raw chicken I wouldn’t have known until she asked if it was done and I had to say “no baby” honestly my family and I didn’t make a scene we just got up and walked out we will not be returning and it’s sad I’m a baldwinsville native
