I normally enjoy going to Bentley’s but my visit Tuesday night kind of put a sour taste in my mouth. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, medium well. It came out very rare and even still squishy in some spots. I’ve attached a photo. After the waitress came back (which was a bit slower than I would have liked - my boyfriend was almost done eating by the time she came back) I told her what happened and she apologized and said she heard me say medium (in which, the burger wasn’t even medium). She sent it back for me and got a new one prepared and I even got half off my burger for the inconvenience. I wouldn’t be writing this review if the second one came out right, but as you can probably guess, it didn’t. I don’t typically like to complain about my food, but I’m not really sure the cook knows what medium well means, because the second one I got was incredibly pink too, but more done than the initial one. I didn’t cut it open until today because I brought it to work for lunch. All in all, I really do enjoy this place and their food typically, but I don’t think I’ll ever be getting a burger from there again. Kitchen must be special Ed class after 9:00, order couldn’t have been any more screwed up. Not that hard to make a simple menu item correct. Do better

We enjoyed our lunch on Christmas Eve-I had the French Onion soup to start and we shared the Reuben😋 and the fries were perfectly crispy

Food was good.. some very large parties that were very loud forced us to change tables.. our server delivered dinner and never showed back up until time to pay the bill.

Our waitress was lethargic. Took a while to get to tables but that’s not my real complaint. The real issue is that she kept her server notebook in her butt crack (I’d bet she’ll say her waistband but it was way too close to the butt crack considering she is serving food). It was really disgusting and unsanitary. After we were served our food she whipped her notepad out of her butt crack inches from my father’s face. It made a nice breeze and he lost his appetite for the evening. If he gets pink eye we’ll know where it came from. I hope that someone can talk to her about a more sanitary way to carry her notebook. We really enjoy the food here but that was absolutely disgusting. She never shared her name but she is the only waitress that does this. I’ve seen her do this on multiple occasions so hopefully someone can identify her and talk to her. Thank you.
