“I ended up at this restaurant as a nearby Turkish place was closed due to snow in April. We were a party of 4 and got seated immediately even though we showed up without a reservation. This placed was packed on Thursday evening. The waitress was courteous and offered us some treats while we decided on our dinner. We got calamari and roasted cauliflower for the starters moving on to salmon, scallops and a vegetarian dish that the waitress suggested. Flavors were on the spot and cooked to perfection. Must visit if you are in Saratoga or Ballston Spa.Vegetarian options: Not much to choose from but you won’t go hungry.”

I hosted a private event in there event space yesterday and I was blown away with the attention to detail and the personal attention we received the entire party. The owners of the Speckled Pig are truly some of the kindness people I have ever met. They made our party an enormous hit! I would highly recommend this event space to all who wish to have a stress free, every detail taken care of kind of party!!”

“The salsa was so fresh and flavorful and delicious, I would've liked it spicier but didn't care. In my opinion, the rest of the food followed the salsa. Don't make your food spicier for me though, most people will start complaining that it's too spicy.”

“A friend and I visited today. I had heard some truly outstanding comments from people about Mom & Pop's Cafe so I thought I'd see for myself. We had lunch, but that breakfast menu was tempting! Those glowing reviews were legit! Food, outstanding!!!! The menu had so many great choices, it was very tough to decide on just one! I had the roastbeef and Gouda panini. It was incredible!!! The servings are generous ( and yes, I am guilty of checking out every plate that went past our table) the prices are more than reasonable, the food is delicious and the staff treats you like family. Welcoming and friendly. If you haven't been yet, you really should give it a try, you won't be disappointed!”

“Went to Ripe Tomato tonight for dinner and was not disappointed. Starting with their bread which I couldn't stop eating. I had the special Pasta Milano and it was so good I wish I hadn't eaten all that bread. The others in our party ordered veal parm and seafood FraDiablo which were OK but nothing special. Our waitress was great and the atmosphere is a little loud but not deafening. If you haven't been give it a try and enjoy. Suggest you make reservations of you go on weekend.”

Overall, I liked the food and most likely will order again.Eel avocado rolls - DeliciousThai iced tea - It was delivered inside of a paper bag. Didn't spill or anything, but at first, I wasn't sure if it actually came in the order. Was delicious, so no complaints there.White rice/teriyaki sauce on the side - Can't really go wrong there, though a dollar for a little bit of sauce that wasn't even enough for the rice seems a bit overpriced. Otherwise, it was tasty.Harumaki/spring rolls - Overpriced considering that there were only 2 small rolls. Other restaurants will give you 4 for the same price. They arrived soggy and tasted odd. I'm not sure if it was because I ordered the food later in the day or not, but they weren't very good.Pad thai - I guess it was my mistake to order pad thai from a sushi place. It was some of the worst pad thai I've had. Couldn't even finish it.”
