“A friend and I visited today. I had heard some truly outstanding comments from people about Mom & Pop's Cafe so I thought I'd see for myself. We had lunch, but that breakfast menu was tempting! Those glowing reviews were legit! Food, outstanding!!!! The menu had so many great choices, it was very tough to decide on just one! I had the roastbeef and Gouda panini. It was incredible!!! The servings are generous ( and yes, I am guilty of checking out every plate that went past our table) the prices are more than reasonable, the food is delicious and the staff treats you like family. Welcoming and friendly. If you haven't been yet, you really should give it a try, you won't be disappointed!“
“If your in the Ballston Spa area give this nice diner a try, the price is right for a quick quality cooked breakfast. On top of that your level of patriotism will rise because of all the honors and memorials for our veterans. When you eat here you just feel like you're supporting your country and a small family business. The food is as good as what you expect a good diner to serve and the waitstaff is very friendly. Great little cozy diner. Don't miss out!“
“Absolutely love this place! Full disclosure: it gets busy, it can get full fast and this location doesn't have a great waiting area. That said I feel like parking can be easier than the Schenectady location and if you have to wait there are cute shops that can occupy your time. The food and staff are wonderful and anything you get to drink will be amazing. It's fun to do the full afternoon tea service, with a mimosa flight and overall it's a delightful experience.“
“A small, historic venue (dating back to 1960), with wonderful acoustics and friendly staff. They have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, along with light bites and a lovely dessert menu.Went there for the first time to see Chatham County Line, it was very special to see them in such an intimate and legendary venue!!“
“My daughter and me stopped last Saturday. The prices weren't expensive, the coffee good. We both had the Reubens crepe. My daughter felt the atmosphere gave off a positive vibe. We're definitely going to be back!! My daughter said she plans on coming back with her friends.“
“We were driving in an awful storm and decided to stop for some breakfast/brunch. So happy we did. The service and food were very delicious. Portions were great and it just really hit the spot.We had a scrambled something which was very delicious and a more traditional breakfast.I recommend the marble rye as a toast option! The French toast was the only thing that maybe could have used some love, but I’m biased- i love challah French toast - So i won’t take away any stars. Lol“
“Always Great Food and Friendly & Efficient Service. The portions are very generous. The Coffee is outstanding and is available in both medium and dark roasts. An enjoyable cozy cafe/bistro atmosphere. An all around great dining experience. Highly Recommended!“
“Pretty cafe with old time music (my favorite) Very nostalgic interior = and they just added a children's play area for when there's a wait. Staff super friendly but not intrusive. I've never had a bad meal here and try to go every weekend. Their Country Morning Breakfast or California Benedict are my favorite.“
“Great place to stop for a delicious pizza or other healthy and creatively scrumptious meals. Three of us went and had a feast. Very good food that's good for you. Loved the interior setting and the outdoor section was open as well. Loved that it was off Broadway and all of the traffic. Nice quiet space. Loved the local beer, tried a few different kinds.“
“The staff were so bubbly and personable. They have a small town feel as soon as you walk in. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was super tasty. I come to Saratoga Springs for a conference every year and this is definitely going to be my new cafe spot!“
“Their holiday menu is a “build your own hot chocolate or latte” so I got their peppermint mocha with whip cream, candy canes and sprinkles (all toppings free I believe). My husband got their black and white mocha with whip and caramel drizzle. I was surprised the 16oz/large was $5! Good price, good taste, good vibes and friendly staff. Nice place to be on a rainy Sunday afternoon.“
“This was our first time at Healthy Living. What a great selection. I am looking forward to going back for a morethorough exploration. We don't live close enough to make this our regular store, but when we are in the area, we will go again.“
“I needed a space where I could focus on getting my work done. On the day I visited The Palette (Saratoga Springs), I was nervous, but those fears soon disappeared. I was greeted warmly by Marcella, the COO. She introduced me to two other visitors and we spent the next two hours just learning about each other. By the end of that meeting, I knew I was going to become a member. The Saratoga Springs location is right in the heart of bustling Broadway. It's the perfect location. There are several shared spaces, a few small rooms, and some larger rooms. You can reserve a room ahead of time in case you need to jump on a Zoom call or have a meeting. There is also a small kitchen area that is stocked with water, tea, snacks, and wine! That's such a nice touch. As a member, you have access to a new printer. The Palette has two locations. I've only been to the one in Saratoga Springs. The other location is in Schenectady. I'm excited that The Palette holds many networking events. It's a great way to meet like minded people. If you need a co-working space, look no further. I highly recommend joining The Palette.“
“Never did I expect to find Canele's outside of France. When I saw them in the bakery case, I did a double take and began to geek out excessively. I think a lot of bakeries don't bother making them not only because of the ingredients but also because you have to acquire a special mold to make them and they're not readily available. They tasted great, not overly sweet, rich, and filled with that familiar orange zest flavor. It went perfectly with a cup of black currant tea. My first time trying that kind of tea, and it was really good. I was very pleased to be taking a break from walking/shopping and being transported to Europe for those moments. While I enjoyed myself, I did find that their prices were a little excessive, but then again, I think that was true for most of the shops/restaurants in the area. Would go back again though if I were ever to return to Saratoga.“
“Whenever you might imagine a popular time, the line is out the door! Worth the wait, just expect a bit of line. Reasonable costs and a good selection of brews, bagels, treats, and non coffee too.Parking: Majority of the convenience parking is shared with three other food/eatery places and a real estate place. Another food shop helps to fill in the spill over lot. Let's just say bring back carpooling!“
“this place is the CUTEST. came on a weekday afternoon with friends. got some holiday coffee drinks + played some scrabble.the server Cassie was the absolute sweetest. free wifi and plenty of space to chill with friends or get work done. i also loved their coffee. will be backk“
“Adorable bakery that gives back to the neighborhood. Food was served quickly and piping hot. Nothing like a great soup and sandwich. I've been here several times. Pastry is wonderful. Outdoor seating and the building is so welcoming - looks like a fairytale house. Love it there.“
“We come whenever we can! We love the drinks and we love the owner, always makes us feel welcome and like old friends! Great place to chill if you need to sit for a while as well. Shakes are great too! Ask for a loyal-tea card if you plan to make regular trips!“
“I went for lunch today with a few friends and it was the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxed meetup. The people are very friendly! Well spaced seating. Free parking is a plus. The food is great for what it is, minimalist but satisfactory meals. Having all the "bells and whistles" so to speak, is not always necessary. Personally I chose not to question any prices knowing everything nowadays is expensive, for both customers and business owners. I'd so much rather eat a simple healthier meal here than go to a typical fast-food joint. As for sweets, I took some cake home for my fiance and I to try, and it tasted so good! :)“
“I had the omelette wrap with bacon and a cup of soup. They were delicious! The soup was broccoli with Monterey Jack. It was so good. ? I would've taken a picture but I was distracted, hungry, and ate 80% before I even Thought of taking a picture. The food was also presented well. Great job!“
“Love this place. Lots of options to drink and eat including bagels, sandwiches, paninis, and salads. Their drinks are great they have a ton of coffees and teas. The chai latte was delicious. Plenty of seating and they have comfy chairs to read a book or do work all day without feeling guilty for staying. Definitely recommend. They also have a small room I think you can book for small get togethers.“
“Fun friendly atmosphere with a phenomenal staff. Lunch was fish and chips. Four nice sized chunks of perfectly battered and fried fish and plenty of lightly seasoned perfectly crisp fries. I saved the slaw for leftovers along with half of this meal! Can't wait to try this place for dinner!!“
“I thought the food was very good. I loved my sammich. But the pumpkin cookie did not taste like pumpkin like I thought it would. They do not say “Pumpkin Sugar Cookie” they said pumpkin cookie. And I am very upset. Everything else was bomb though and even the cookie wasn’t bad. Just didn’t taste like pumpkin“
“My wife and I, visiting from NYC, stopped here for breakfast before Mass - it was exactly the homey, hearty, friendly environment we didn't even know we needed. The food was good, but the company was great - we had a wonderful chat with the owner, who was mindful of our schedule and made sure we were well taken care of. We also found out their business supports cancer research, hence the name. We split a massive cinnamon roll, served right in front of us from the pan they had just been baked in. Our food was fresh and delicious, the service was speedy and attentive, and the overall friendly atmosphere was a joy to dine in. This is a wonderful local business that I and my wife hope to find our way into many more times!Kid-friendliness: Girl Scouts were selling cookies outside! My stepdaughter wasn't with us but she would have fit right in. Great social place for all ages, like a town saloon - it was bustling even at 9am on a Sunday“
