“I want to disclaimer with I have only had Panera one time via doordash and have never dined in. Today, I took my hangry little toddler to the Queensbury NY location. From the moment we approached the counter, all the employees were smiling and very welcoming. There was a sweet girl named Bri who cut a slice of sourdough for my daughter while we waited to order. When it was our turn, Zachary helped me order, got my daughter her cinnamon roll and was the most pleasant and kind employee I have encountered at any food establishment. We sat down to eat and my toddler ate faster than I have ever seen, nearly finishing all her food and mine. Zachary had walked over to check on us and ask us how everything was. I said it was SOO good she ate hers and mine. We chatted about the cinnamon rolls and the amazing lemony glaze that is on them. My daughter also complimented his hair. To my amazement, Zachary came back with a new sandwich for me. It was the most kind thing I have experienced. My daughter promptly ate the bacon and egg off this one too... so you must have some rockstar chefs because she is very picky!! I was able to get the bagel this time. While we were eating and chatting, Bri came over to get a drink near where we were sitting and started chatting and did a little cup "cheers" with my toddler. It was adorable and again, so KIND. I am always hesitant to bring a hungry toddler into a restaurant but I am so glad I did. These two rockstar employees made it worth every second. I am happily going to return and dine in again. Both came with bagel chips which were crunchy and delicious. The sandwiches were great. Service was good. Lunches were made fresh in the spot. Price was appropriate. Nice little place for a mid~afternoon lunch.“

“​I discovered the Gourmet Cafe on a quiet evening as the hostess was placing the menu board outside. The dining room was simple and unpretentious, giving off a pleasant, personal feel. The experience started with a warm welcome from the server, Mandy, who personally recommended a Pinot Grigio for my meal—a fantastic touch for someone exploring wine pairings.

​Mandy was equally impressive: wonderfully attentive, composed, and friendly.
​I ordered a half portion of the Penne alla vodka with chicken, which was generous enough to be a full meal. It arrived with perfectly toasted garlic bread and had a lovely aroma. The dish delivered on every level: the pasta had a great bite, the sauce was tangy (thanks to the sun-dried tomatoes) and creamy, and the chicken was incredibly tender. The owner's wine recommendation was spot on, as the Pinot Grigio enhanced the creaminess of the sauce beautifully.

​It was the kind of meal that makes you lean back in your seat to savor every bite. While a few stray flies were near my table by the door, it was a minor note in a delicious and pleasant experience. Learning it's a 'mom-and-pop' operation made perfect sense given the personal service and neighborhood feel. It’s a true gem.“

My husband had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a ciabatta. It was the perfect breakfast to start our day full of activities. I wish it wasn’t our last day or else we would be coming back tomorrow! The owner and staff were super friendly. We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in. While our sandwiches were getting made, we had a great conversation with the owner.“
