“Not quite a da Vinci masterpiece.
Wanted to try to place for a while now but their kitchen hours would end just before I could get out of work on a normal day, but at some point they started to sell liquor and thus were forced to keep the kitchen open during all hours. Works for me.
Ordered online using their website, going with a slice of the quiche, a Vanilla Protein shake, and the Joe Buss'n which comes with chips. Came to just under $36 with tip, pretty standard for Cafe local.
Pickup was simple, right on the outer side of the mall, though they were waiting to make the final touches on my shake. Which as soon as I got it I could tell it was really, watery, which I confirmed back in my car. Typically the protein shakes I have had are thick, like a smoothie, I mean I added bananas, blueberries, strawberries, peanut butter, and a handful of flavors. Yet it was about as thick as the almond milk I picked. Great flavor mind you, great flavor, but no substance or body. To say I was disappointed, would be about right.
Back home I dug into the quiche and the sandwich. The quiche was like many I have had, great cheesy and eggy flavor, the crust was buttery, and the veggies added a nice refreshing edge. Pretty solid. The amusingly named sandwich was, different, but in a mostly ok way. Loved how crispy the ciabatta bread was, the pepper jack was a great choice, chicken and bacon was good, and the veggies were also great, but something about the BBQ sauce muddled the waters. I don't know why, it should have been a good compliment to the meat, maybe it was just too intense? Whatever the reason I found the sandwich to be pretty whatever, nothing to write home about.

“If you are looking for good home cooked meals, a cozy & homey environment please check out Mom & Pop's Cafe & Catering I tried their Chicken noodle soup and I didn't want to leave a drop. I also tried their Cranberry orange muffin. This muffin was bursting with flavor right down to the last crumb. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The owners Kaila & Steve come out and check on the customers not just the waiting staff. The customers clearly know who Kaila and Steve are as they speak. The environment is clean, well kept, beautiful and makes you feel at home. The tables are set up for sets of 2, 4 & 6 but can easily be pushed together for more. There is a salad & pastry section for those who would like a quick snack for to go. The location is easy to get to and easy to see from the road. They may be the new owners but things are looking smooth from what I saw.“

“Looking for a unique spot to get your grub on? Want something with some ethnic scrumptious flare? Look no more. Outstanding food, great service (kind and friendly) HIGHLY recommended. Best Everything bagel in town. It's small and the food inside packs a punch of flavor! You would t be disappointed! There is a couple of tables to sit inside if you wanted to. During the nicer weather there are seats outside but I get all, order to go!“

“Absolutely delicious, every single bite. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to serve you, whether it be a coffee refill or asking for a side of mayo. The omeletts are perfectly made with every ingredient you order in each and every bite. The homemade corned beef hash is some of the best corned beef hash I've ever tasted. The physical restaurant itself is extremely clean and very well maintained. I have been to just about every Diner and Cafe in Schenectady and Albany County, as well as other states. This Cafe is definitely one of the best. Do not hesitate to give this Cafe a try!“

“The atmosphere and vibe of this cafe is amazing!
The entertainment on weekends are nothing that I have experienced anywhere else.
Mr. Ventura is always polite, attentive and accommodating. The staff are as well! Really giving you that welcoming hometown coffee shop feeling.
Considering I drive 30 minutes out of my way to grab a bite to eat. That should say enough about how delicious the food is. But if I must, the food is just as excellent! The Love Salad is my favorite! They also have gluten free options!

“I literally love Stacks! I’m here usually 3 times a week for work. The workers are always inviting and super nice. I work with individuals who have special needs and they are always willing to help my client’s peers when they purchase drinks and meals. I will continue to support them as much as possible I hope one day they start making refreshers“

“My husband and I went there this evening for Valentines dinner. We have been there for her amazing breakfasts and have ordered her take out pot pies and WOW, we were not disappointed with our amazing dinner. I had the Eggplant and my husband had the Filet. Warm and cozy atmosphere- just perfect!!“

“It’s basically a Starbucks, so they sell most of the same things as a Starbucks. However, they’re not the exact same as a Starbucks, so you won’t get free water like you would at an actual Starbucks. But if you’re paying it’s basically the same as a real Starbucks.
Parking: There’s a parking lot near the Mueller Center, which is nearby DCC.
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly as the main purpose is to serve college students.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible, although the pathways are a bit narrow.“

“So grateful Works Cafe opened a location near Crossgates Mall (Guilderland/Albany)! Only a couple minutes from I-87, worth the stop! Great smoothies, bowls, bagels, sandwiches, and bring your coffee mug to fill for a discount. Best loyalty program too! Earn points! My favorite smoothies… Carrot Mango with added protein and the Kale Crush with added protein. Great for after a workout or when on the run! The folks working there are the BEST TOO!“
“We had our first couples boxing class last night and it was outstanding. Corey is open to unique class ideas is very welcoming to everyone. Our trainer was also outstanding! He worked out the entire time with my husband and I and kept the enthusiasm alive the whole time! Such an awesome experience from some other gyms and group fitness that yell at people or don’t watch for correct form and ensure safety. We will be back!!!“

“We had a delicious lunch at The Moon and River Cafe today. Reubens , Thai fries, beet salad and blueberry pie all vegan and kindly prepared and served by Richard as always. We have been there several times and will definitely be back !“
