“Last night I ordered a cheeseburger for my wife and chicken tikki masala for me. My wife's favorite burger is Burger King. She said the burger was very good and almost as good as Burger King. Her burger was much bigger from Kabob House so she only ate half. While she was enjoying her burger. I was totally enjoying my chicken tikki masala. i wanted to eat half but I kept mixing a little more of the red sauced chicken with the rice. It was so fresh and the spice was so good. I was so full yet wanted more. The only thing I could not understand was, how and why would people not buy a burger here instead of Burger King? It even came with fries. My wife said because it had no onions. Later that evening I heard half a cheeseburger calling me. I cut off a large bite and was amazed by the thickness of the burger. The meat quality was far superior to any fast food burger. I am declaring Kabab House the burger winner. The food here is excellent. What's not to like ? I think they need an interior decorator. The place needs new tables and chairs with a better layout. Brighten things up.”

Great location on the Mohawk river, nice green space across the street. Inside was what I'd describe as a joint, in the best sense.

Interesting decor, lively and popular at times. We were seated and then came the popcorn bowl and I'm thinking I don't want popcorn yet we ate it down anyway 😂

The steamed clams are definitely worth an order. The fish and chips was perfectly cooked. Not heavily breaded, not greasy, just perfectly cooked. Tender and delicious fish with food fries. The coleslaw had a sweetness to it from the pineapple, trust me it was good. My wife enjoyed the fish tacos.

Staff were friendly and service was good. We ate after the early dinner rush but finished before the party crowd got there.

We also had an order of the crispy spring rolls that are garnished with fantastic pickled daikon radish & carrot sticks & fresh cucumber slices. I would love more of the pickled vegetable garnish! “to the people commenting on the lack of ambiance...? i think it is fine. for me the music is "ambient" enough, along with the lovely wall mural, and photos showing what the food is....not to mention the collection of both holly AND "bolly"wood stars and starlets, adorning a back side wall. the dining area is always SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, and the bathroom shines. they keep the prices very reasonable, which is a HUUGE plus for me. the food is always great, fresh, and tasty, not to mention a lot healthier than the traditional american diet. staff is attentive. i never felt they "watch to see how many dishes you take", as someone suggested. they are likely making sure people get FRESH plates with every visit to the steam tables., since this is actually a restaurant/buffet health law...i have never ever, once felt like they wanted to "rush" me out. they are always very welcoming and accommodating.. “In 2021 I ordered 2 graduation cakes from J & S Watkins for my daughter. 1 cake for her graduation day dinner and 1 cake for her party which was a few weeks later. Both cakes were wonderful. Very tasty, moist, not dry and the frosting is to die for. I wish I could bake as well as this bakery. I will always order my cakes from J & S Watkins bakery as they are a family run business and they know how to bake. They are also very friendly and all of the staff who I interacted with were wonderful! They are the best!!!”

“We just moved to the area and have tried many different Asian cuisines. Tai pan was the best priced and the quality of the sesame chicken outshined all the other restaurants near by. The mei fun was super good too. The crab wontons were super fresh and not heavy in fried wrapper. The balance was perfect. One complaint was not enough white rice but that’s an easy fix for next time and didn’t take away from the experience. My husband got the red curry with no to lite spice and they made it just right. We did take away and plan for this to be our go to spot going forward.

PS - make it so you can order springs rolls on your website :) I only see it as an add on in the combos”

“I come here late at night (after 12am) since I don't get out of my own work until then some nights. This place used to be awful for years with anything late night. Not anymore. I can't speak to daytime as I don't come here. But for late night fast food they are spot on. I've been stopping here for over a year now, at least once every two weeks and have never had an issue. My order is made fresh (even though its the value meue section) and the people working actually act like they want to be there. Unlike the local TBell and McD's (McD's only open until 12am). They say thank you. That's huge. The orders are correct. They talk to you at the drive thru windows. They remember you. For fast food....its like being a regular in a restaurant. Which i can't say I've seen anywhere else. Keep doing what your doing after dark!!”

My wife had the original hi Ken sandwich combo with cheese fries and a soda $8.99. So, essentially for $20 we had a pretty good lunch. I’ll definitely go back again when I’m Loki g for a quick bite to eat. Hopefully they stay consistent. Too many places these days go to crap quickly after opening.”
