“I have been enjoying their fried fish, onion rings, French fries & other choices for over 55 years and the food has always been great..... never had a bad meal...,.... Highly Recommended (this is a new location, however the food is the same, I have eaten at all their locations, never had a problem ... just great food)Wheelchair accessibility: shouldn't be a problem“
“I am VERY picky when it comes to Chinese. I tried this place for the first time and it was amazing! I got an egg roll and steamed dumplings. The egg roll was the best one I’ve ever had and the sauce for the dumplings was thicker than any I’ve had and also the best I’ve had. Will definitely return!“
“Food is about as good as it gets for Americanized Chinese food. Store needs a facelift but don’t think that means the food isn’t great.Parking: There is always parking in this lot as there are other businesses next door that also have spots available. The entire lot is usually only about 30% full.“
“Just like one of the places near the coast. Fresh fish served in paper lined baskets. Fish tasted very fresh, not greasy. The Tartar and Cocktail Sauces tasted homemade and had delicious full flavors.Parking: Free parking lot next to the building.Wheelchair accessibility: Has ramp and handicap parking space for access.“
“Fun fun fun. Cooking your own on demand food is a blast. Go with a date or a whole party. I highly recommend choosing “all you can eat”, so you aren’t restricted. I’ve been here twice once for BBQ and the other time for hot pot. I shall return!“
“We love Johnny's restaurant! The ambience is really nice and cozy. Delicious appetizers! Lovely freshly made pasta; I'm a big fan of the tagliatelle. The excellent desserts are from Villa Italia so you get to support two amazing local business with one meal out. Service is always great; we try to get seated in JoJo's section when we go as he is top-notch. I mentioned him previously as well. He goes way above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful experience. He's extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I just cannot say enough good things about him and this restaurant. I hope you'll go check it out soon if you have not already. We are going again in the near future, already have a reservation set. See you all soon!“
“I've ordered from Tamarind Thai numerous times and love how they are consistent! I've eaten red curry and pad Thai - both excellent options. I've eaten pad Thai from other establishments and Tamarind Thai, hands down, has the best Pad Thai. It's very straightforward and delicious - rice noodles, bean sprouts, and peanuts - which is just how I love it!“
“From the moment we walked in treated like family! Apps, entrees and desserts all amazing. Desserts all homemade! Our table had several apps shared. Entrees for us Ahi Tuna, Winter Halibut, Fish Tacos and a Lobster Roll. One land Lubber had the burger with crispy onions and some of the best fries I ever had. And. THE OYSTERS! We did the Shuckers Platter. AMAZING!Waitstaff was awesome. Laid back casual comfortable atmosphere with soft perfect dining lighting. This place will be a regular stop for us as well as picking up fresh fish to go for home cooking.Parking: Huge clean newly paved well lit lot. Left on 7 East leaving can be tough so go right and double back for safety when traffic is heavy.“
“I used Google and found this restaurant. I liked the reviews, so I placed a Curbside Pickup Order. The Lady who took my order was super friendly and very thorough.I ordered Three the Hard Way with rice and peas and cabbage. I added a side of Mac & cheese and plantains.OMG! It was SO MUCH FOOD...AND it was still hot when I got home!Well, the Jerk chicken was very palatable (most jerk is TOO spicy for me). Stew chicken and curry chicken were very good, as well! Cabbage, rice and peas and plantains were good. Mac & cheese was okay. (I'm a hard judge of Mac & cheese. It needed a little more flavor.)Overall, I will certainly order again!! I'm looking forward to trying more dishes!!Price was great considering how much GOOD food you receive!!I highly recommend this restaurant!“
“Ate for the first time at the century houseVery rustic appearance with quaint atmosphere. Service was very friendlyOur meals came out timed perfect from soup to main course. The soups and sauces were amazing the plating was excellent. The main course was delicious and perfectly “
“Seafood lovers will be happy and the prices were pleasantly low for what you typically see for a quality seafood dinner. Any seat in the front room has a beautiful view! We would love to visit again when the weather is better. They have a beautful view of the river with a patio. We hope to be back soon“
“I came up from Queens on my birthday. Verdile's is an old school Italian restaurant like back in the day in Ozone Park. The sauce (not gravy) was homemade. The calamari was excellent. The seafood cacciatore was delicious. The carrot cake was a treat. Service was personal and very kind.Worth the trip. I think the restaurant has been around since 1943 for a very good reason. It's not fancy but it doesn't have to be. A real gem from another era!I will be returning the next time I visit Troy. It's an absolute treasure of the city.“
“The gentleman who took our order wasn't very friendly. He wasn't rude; just not very engaging. The food, of course was delicious! Prices are high!!Parking: There is ample parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a handicap entrance! This makes it so easy to park and enter.“
“This place was amazing.....The garlic parmesan chicken wings were delicious and the Meat Lovers Calzone was so good and the portions are huge...... took home a meatball sandwich for dinner and the meatballs were the best I ever have eaten.....you owe it to yourself to try it. You won't be disappointed....“
“I cannot believe I have not rated this place yet,I will start with The love felt when you walk in,The owner ,Chef is amazing she run everything and still has time to be a momThis is the also the best Tasting Thai food in NYS , challenge me on it lol.“
“Last Saturday night was so much fun! We came in for a comedy show, and decided to come a little early for apps and drinks. Our waitress was super nice and talked us into sharing a sandwich with our apps. The French onion soup was delish just like everyone told us it was. The portions are huge! I watched what people were ordering around us and I couldn't believe the portion size“
“The food is delicious my mother’s favorite spot & mine. Staff is very polite & professional.Vegetarian options: Variety of foodsKid-friendliness: Staff is very polite & loves childrenParking: Convenient parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in & out of the restaurant.“
“Went for lunch and everything was amazing! Can’t wait to go back! Loved all of decor and theme of the restaurant. Our server Amy was so friendly, so kind, and knowledgable about the menu. I wish I took pictures of our boils, they were so delish. Cooked perfect, hot, and great flavor!!!“
“The person taking the orders had an attitude. I'm so sorry.. I traveled that whole week. The fish place that I was thinking that I was writing a review for was in Washington DC. I got mixed up on the place there. So sorry! You guys were nice.“
“I had a great meal at Lo Porto’s yesterday. This is one of the best hidden gems of downtown Troy for those who have not been, you need to give it a try. It has a very authentic Italian feel and the service is impeccable. I would recommend making reservations if you are going during busier days than normal. The veal, spaghetti carbonara, and the Tortellini Alla Panna, are some of my favorite things to get. The sauce is nice and thick. Do not miss the opportunity to get a cannoli for dessert. Even if you have to take it to go, it is definitely worth the extra room in your stomach! Can’t wait to go back, thanks!Vegetarian options: Ask your sever, there are plenty of optionsParking: Street parking can be hit or missWheelchair accessibility: Yes flat entrance“
“We went the first time because I was missing the Gulf Coast shrimp I enjoyed as a younger lady. The location is a bit difficult to get in and out of, maybe it's just my anxiety. I love this place. Staff are friendly, the seasonings are spot on, fresh seafood, delicious fried food. I'm from the deep, dirty south and it is so hard up here to find good seafood. This is great seafood. I am in love with the fruit teas. The shrimp are always juicy and plump. They will mix the garlic butter with the Cajun and it hits the spot every time. I took a point off because the napkins are too small and not enough. You almost need a good washcloth. We never use the bibs you just dive in and enjoy.“
“After hearing my 20-something year old son rave about all his trips to Chicken Joe's, today I had the opportunity to try it for myself. My son got a Heaven sandwich and I got the chicken nuggets with corn fritters. Let's start with the sandwich. It was so large and filled with delicious ingredients that he could only eat half of it (happily saving the second half for tonight's dinner!). My nuggets and fritters came mixed together in a foil-lined sack, which kept it plenty warm for the ride home. The serving size was generous and the ingredients were obviously high quality (no weird pieces of non-edible chicken in the entire meal - just clean white meat). The restaurant was clean, and they had covid safety measures in place - only one group inside to order at a time, then we returned to our car and the meal was delivered to us there (with a smile, I might add!). I am now a Chicken Joe's groupie and hoping someday they'll open a location closer to me in Columbia County. Regardless, I will definitely be back - there are many more items on their menu that I'd like to try!“
“Seasmoke was fantastic. This was my fourth time there - every time just as good as the former. Tried the lamb burger this time - spectacular; it will be hard to order anything else next time! Can't wait to be on the deck this summer. Highly recommended.“
“I stopped into this restaurant this afternoon with a coworker as I was in the Albany area. I've never heard of this restaurant, but was so excited to find the quantity of reviews on yelp. When we rolled in, we found out that they won the war for the best Italian restaurant in all of Albany for 15 years in a row, can you believe that they beat the Olive Garden for this honor? I had the chicken Parm and it was tasty.“
“My wife and I came here for our anniversary and the food was delicious!! It is a bit pricey but well worth it. The service from our waitress was wonderful, she was also very friendly and attentive. My only complaints are: #1. the tips being automatically charged. I am a tipper, don't get me wrong, but in the state of NY tips are optional. I was planning on leaving a tip a few dollars more than what I was automatically charged but when I got my check and saw that they charged the tip themselves, I just paid what they charged on their own. #2. I chose the flavor "punish me" and my dish wasn't spicy at all. I love spicy food and when I saw "punish me" I thought I was going to receive something really spicy but didn't. I'll definitely be back to eat here!“
“If you are a beer conisseur, this is the place to go in this area, I am not a beer lover and they would only serve me a local whiskey "neat". It's pretty good. I had the cheeseburger egg rolls and they were delicious. Pretty busy place full of locals, always a good sign.“
“The food is always good. The people are nice and helpful the pudding was good and the carrot cake was delicious mom and my son enjoyed every thing mom loved the soup Phillip love the clam fries and ? i love the fish even thing good took food home for another day.“
“Ordered two lunch specials to go. Fries cooled off quickly even though was eating it right away. Unusual red relish sauce was a disappointment as we were expecting regular tartar sauce. Fish portion was a good size and crispy.Parking: Shares a driveway entrance with Pizza Hut“
“I can't say enough good things about this place My meal was AMAZING ? it was exactly what I was hoping for. I search for other restaurants in the area and no one really had this type of dish with the white wine sauce with butter garlic. I added fresh squeezed lemon and it added so many more layers and depth to the dish. I got the seafood combo. They have a mix drink menu if you ask.The staff were super friendly and nice and I loved the atmosphere!!!! It felt rich and cozy ?“
“First time here in over twenty years. Obviously, a lot has changed. My wife and I were running errands, and wanted to try something different. We weren't totally sure about this place, but it was certainly a pleasant surprise. The service was amazing and the food was excellent.“
“first time eating here...showed up on a saturday night, surprisingly empty? Bartender and one regular "Tony" kept it lively at the bar and included me in conversation. Food was EXCELLENT drinks were great and everything was fairly portioned...looking forward to coming back again and bringing friends. There's some street parking, but a parking lot is right next door.“
“My first experience with Mexican Street Corn, and it won't be the last!Been quite sometime since I had a hankering for some Mexican cuisine, but seeing Sabor Azteca on my trips through Clifton park I was curious enough that I began to check out their menu online.Ended up going with an order of the House Chimichangas and the Elotes Preparados (Mexican Street Corn), coming to around $34 total for everything which included a bag of chips and salsa. Not too shabby.Once home, which even with the 45 minute drive there, everything was still perfectly warm. I immediately tried the corn and was very surprised at how good it was, like corn on the cob but way better. The blend of flavors, cheesy, sweet, and tart, really had quite the punch. This might be the only way I eat corn on the cob going forward. The Chimichangas weren't anything to skimp over either, being stuffed to the brim with shredded chicken (my choice), a generous helping of ranchero sauce and cheese, and they got my requests to swap out the included tomatoes with onion and the guac dip with a bean and cheese dip which went fantastically with the chips. The Mexican rice was tender and very flavorful, and when mixed together with the shredded lettuce and some of the sauce from the Chimichangas; made for a delicious salad. The only "negative" thing I could say about my whole experience was arriving at 4:00PM to pickup, I found my order was still not ready and I had to wait an additional 7 minutes. Not a big deal, especially given how awesome it came out, but something to be aware of that you might have to wait a tad bit longer than the ETA. But if it means hotter food, I'll take the wait.A big thumbs up from me, recommended to anyone wanting some yummy Mexican dishes.“
