About DOS COMPADRES

DOS COMPADRES is a Mexican restaurant known for its authentic cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Diners have praised the restaurant for its generous portions, particularly the molcajete and nachos, which are considered great value for the price. The birria tacos and birria quesadilla, available with flour or corn tortillas, are highlights, with many noting their delicious flavor. The steak burrito is also substantial, often leaving diners with leftovers.

While some guests have experienced longer wait times for their meals, most agree that the food is worth the wait. The restaurant features simple yet elegant decor, which many find refreshing. The attentive and friendly staff contribute to a positive dining experience, often engaging with customers to ensure their orders meet expectations.

The menu offers unique items not commonly found in other local Mexican restaurants, like The Alambre, a mix of chorizo, bacon, and chicken with peppers, served with handmade tortillas. However, some reviews mention inconsistencies in food quality, particularly with the memelas, where toppings and flavors have varied over time. Despite some mixed experiences, the restaurant's chips and guacamole are frequently highlighted as the best in the area.

Overall, DOS COMPADRES is recommended for its tasty food, friendly service, and enjoyable ambiance, making it a great choice for various occasions, from casual lunches to special date nights.

Really really good flavors and portion for decent price. Birria tacos, chips and salsa so good.
Ordered tonight. First time. Family and I loved it. Definitely ordering again. Can't say enough about this food. Authentic. Tasty. Prices are great.
The molcajete is a lot of food. Same with the nachos. The birria is delicious and worth it. Can have the birria quesadilla with flour or corn tortillas. Everything well worth the price for the servings. All four of my family members took food home.
