“I used Google and found this restaurant. I liked the reviews, so I placed a Curbside Pickup Order. The Lady who took my order was super friendly and very thorough.I ordered Three the Hard Way with rice and peas and cabbage. I added a side of Mac & cheese and plantains.OMG! It was SO MUCH FOOD...AND it was still hot when I got home!Well, the Jerk chicken was very palatable (most jerk is TOO spicy for me). Stew chicken and curry chicken were very good, as well! Cabbage, rice and peas and plantains were good. Mac & cheese was okay. (I'm a hard judge of Mac & cheese. It needed a little more flavor.)Overall, I will certainly order again!! “This is a fun place to go. Lots of locals and university students. The place is colourful and vibrant with authentic music. The staff are nice but I would not say they move with any great pace not are they really trained. More of family vibe going on. The food was prepared well but was a bit on the bland side. But you get a lot for the price.“
“My boyfriend & I & my mother & her friend went here this evening. Food was DELICIOUS. Had good taste. Wasn’t to seasoned wasn’t to bland. I for sure thought it was going to take like a hour for hour food but I doubted this place. Our food was served to us within 15 minutes & it’s was hot and fresh. Our server was very nice. & so was the lady that helped pack up our food. She went out of her way to make sure that our food was packed safe & sound eve went as far as stapling the bag closed for us. 10/10 recommend!.“

“This was our first time @ Kitchen 216.The staff welcomed us & were very friendly despite being busy.The food was prepared to order.We went with the following meals; sweet jerk & teriyaki baked chicken, fried chicken & fried shrimp. Our sides were Mac & cheese, candied yams and corn bread. Everything tasted Delicious!We will be back to have the collard greens as with this trip they were all out.Definitely a hidden gem in the 518!! ☺️“
“As I plan to visit a friend in Albany, I can't help but to screatly hope she wants to go have dinner here. We went last year for her birthday and l was highly impressed. This establishment gives everything you would hope for in an upscale steakhouse. We went here on a Saturday evening as a party of 3. We had drinks, appetizers, a full meal, and dessert. My Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the sides were so big they could have been shared. The waitstaff was very sophisticated and friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu. I would recommend going here if you have something to celebrate or if you would like to impress someone. Not often, I give a place a 5/5.“
