“I thought the pizza was really good compared to other local options. When I walked at 11:45 am on a Tuesday, the bar area was full of people while the rest of the restaurant appeared empty! Super noisy! Maybe there was an event or business party? Seemed like a good sign. Since I was picking up, I just walked over to the cash register and pulled out my cash, since there was a sign notifying you of a 3% surcharge on card charges. Pizza came out hot and smelling delicious! I ordered a large but since there is thick crust, and a 8-slice pizza, it seemed to be what a size medium would look like. The crust was flavorful and crispy on the bottom, but chewy on the sides and top. The crust was thick! There wasn't a lot of cheese grease dripping off, which is a good thing. I felt that the sauce was bland and not very thick, so a little disappointed about that but it wasn't a deal breaker. At $2.50 per topping, the toppings were well-distributed and fresh, so that was good. All in all a very good pizza. It was around $26 for a "large, three topping, 8-slice pizza, for take out" and we really enjoyed it especially since many of the other pizza places near Niskayuna/NE Schenectady are don't sell the style of pizza we like. I understand the positive reviews and happy to have discovered this place close to home.”
“Absolutely amazing atmosphere, it's nice to finally find a place with the genuine charm and character that other taverns try to emulate. They are cash only, so bring money or use their ATM. They end up donating the extra 3% that would normally be given to the CC companies to local charities. The menu has a good selection of standard pub fare, with using descriptions and anecdotes. We got the Reuben, French Dip, and had to try their hamburger. The portion sizes are large, well worth the price. Chips are great and the sweet potato ones even moreso. We tried to fit a dessert in as well, and the massive cookie sandwhich is very much Massive! Would be a challenge to eat one on your own if that was the only thing you ordered. Definitely enough of a dessert to split between four people. It was only our first visit, but we'll definitely be making this one of our regular spots.Vegetarian options: Most of the salads and a few appetizers contain no meat.Dietary restrictions: All fried items are fried in peanut oil, so if you have a peanut allergy you'll need to stick to fresh foods and sandwhichesParking: Shared lot with the strip mall, and a few spots down a side road.”
“Around here, this is as close as it gets to the authentic stuff without being invited. That said, everything was flavorful, delicious and full of heat where requested. I had to try the Burrito Loco because it sounded too insane to work as a dish, but it was surprisingly good!”
“I come to this Starbucks several times a day and it’s the best around. The staff always working hard and very polite. Today Savanna’s took my order. She’s always there sometimes alone but always providing good service.”
“Lovely staff. Always happy to help make our orders exactly how we want them! Very helpful with assisting us with applying our promos or coupons!! Closest location to our home. I get the BLT and she gets the veggie delight. :))Vegetarian options: Great variety! No limit really to what you can put on your subs! My wife likes getting their Veggie Delights, she really enjoys them!”
“Stopped in to get my chai latte and breakfast sandwich. Lovely cashier greeted me with a smile and didn't make me feel rushed. The girl making my latte was new and doubled checked all orders and make them perfectly!”
“So wonderful. We’re still talking about it a day later. This restaurant had us at tamarind with eggplant and chickpeas. Also cheers for the chili chickpea Bahjia. Other items kept our smiles going. Pleasant service. It is the only place we would go if we were in the area again. Can you hear our applause to the chef and cooks?!”
“We were there last night for a friend’s birthday. Place was packed but we had a reservation and were seated quick. Apps, entrees and desserts were all delicious and huge servings. The pineapple tropical margarita was so tasty! Our server Dayana was very sweet and attentive. She made my friend’s birthday very special. We will definitely be going back!”
“walked in to amazing vibes friendly & welcoming staffOrdered pernil rice w gandules empanadillas and amarillos everything tasted perfect. i will definitely keep coming back :)”
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful wine bar, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and cozy, setting the perfect tone for a relaxing evening. The charcuterie board was a delightful array of flavors and textures, perfectly complementing the diverse selection of wines available on tap. Each bite was a journey through savory delights, expertly curated to tantalize the taste buds. While we encountered a small issue with the temperature of one plate, it was quickly and efficiently addressed by the attentive staff without us even having to request it. This level of proactive service truly speaks to the commitment to customer satisfaction at this establishment. Our server, Sarah, was an absolute gem. Not only was she friendly and approachable, but she also proved to be an excellent guide, helping us navigate the extensive menu and wine bar selections with ease. Her recommendations were spot-on, showcasing her thorough knowledge of the drinks and menu offerings.Overall, my experience at this wine bar was nothing short of exceptional. With its inviting atmosphere, delectable charcuterie boards, and signature drinks that tease the taste buds, it's the perfect destination for anyone looking to unwind and indulge in a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of what this hidden gem has to offer. Cheers to Sarah and the entire team AND MY HUSBAND? for making it an unforgettable evening!”
“To say this is the best place to go in Schenectady would be a severe understatement. The food is the best in the capital district. You can't have a bad meal here! I can't recommend it enough”
“We came as a group of four. Parking is super easy in the plaza. The choice for all-you-can-eat is amazing for us who loves meat. The iPad for self ordering is really convenient, and our service guy is really nice in refilling water and changing grill. I'm a huge fan of the seaweed salad and cheesy corn. Fried rice is ok...less flavorful and too little of portion. But the quality of the meat is perfect in Albany. We almost got all kinds of beef if not second round. First time doing lamb and got really surprised by the juicy and flavorful meat. Love the fact that they have ice cream and smores for dessert. Didn't get to drink much this time but would love to come back next time to have another feast.”
“Very creative menu, delicious food set in a historic building. Beautiful rooms, would love to dine on the patio someday. Here from Boston. Kelly our server was friendly and efficient. A must try.”
“I've ordered food from here several times. All I can say is, WOW, they're pumping out some great food. Highly recommend the Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken or the Cubano.”
“Great service!!! Rocky is always our server and he's so sweet and helpful. He explains something if we don't know what it is. We always feel like family whenever we go there. Everyone remembers us whenever we go.”
“I got the lamb kebab wrap with everything on it. I couldn't recommend it more! The lamb was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, and the pita had the right amount of meat and fillings in it (and it didn't fall apart while I ate it).”
“A southern brunch that was so good. 4 of us went to celebrate a birthday and we all enjoyed it immensely. I had the Dad and it was absolutely delicious. We loved the fried green tomatoes, and the tater tots. I had a bourbon bacon bloody Mary that was out of this world. I can't wait to go back!Parking: Street parking was available and they have a lot behind the building.”
“Gorgeous little gem of a store. Their employees are incredibly nice and friendly, and the yuzu egg tart in particular is a creamy delight. I'd love to try the chocolate one if I can ever get there in time, because they rightfully sell out of tarts quickly.”
“Not only were the portions perfect and the food delicious, the staff was friendly and extremely accommodating of my boyfriends tree nut allergy! 10/10 recommend, it is definitely the best restaurant I've been to in a ”
“I have been going to J & T's Cafe for many years. The food and service is always consistently good. What really takes it over the top are the freshly homade soups, which there is 6 or more varieties. Everything is prepared fresh everyday, and the best home cooked food around. The clientele that frequent this establishment are also very pleasant, which also is an indication of their satisfaction with this establishment. For those few disgruntled customers, take your frustration out on your wives or significant other. John and the crew at J & T's are aces.”
“Food was good. Staff were very nice! Food was fast and easy to get. Nice simple menu. Good prices.Parking: The parking was great and easy to find although there were quite a few people buying from here so it must be quite popular.”
“Such a cute bookstore and Cafe. The selection of books was very unique as they had many special edition copies. The children's section was also quite nice and I got a particularly good book for a friend for her upcoming baby shower. They also had a good number of games for sale, many of which I had never even seen before. Excellent place to stop by if you are into books or libraries.”
“Yesterday was my first time here and WOW. I got the lemon pound cake and now...I WANT MORE! Cute little store where you can pick up to go meals, alcohol, basic groceries, and really cute little cook books and how to make recipes with all ingredients included! Will 1000 percent be back.”
“When you're ready to experience a quaint family Italian dinner in Schenectady, I recommend Marino's ? Good Service, Good Atmosphere, and Delicious Food. Check 'em out!”
“I was CRAVING chicken Kashmiri bad tonight but my husband is not a big fan of the spice in traditional Indian food. As a compromise, we settled on Galleria 7 in Latham, a multi-ethnic food market with excellent vendors, including @Shalimar express.I called around 5 to ask if Shalimar express makes chicken Kashmiri. The nice man answered, told me no and respectfully hung up the call. Within five minutes, the owner, Leo, called me back to tell me that although they do not have chicken Kashmiri as a menu item, they were able to make a modified version and call is chili chicken. We arrived around 615 and Leo greeted us with a smile and a “it was you!!!” He proceeded to explain how he would custom make a dish for me and would make it suitable for my dietary needs. He really didn’t not have to but this man went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. We received the food within 15 minutes and it was DELICIOUS. The chicken was soft and tender, the garlic naan was flavorful and the veggies were absolute perfection. My husband had the Curry chicken and loved every bite. Leo even came and spoke to us about his history, his family and his love for serving his friends. We never post on this page but Leo made this experience such a memorable one. He went far beyond great customer service and truly the food was Amazing. If you are ever in all Latham, give them a try.”
“The best pizza! Wish there’s an option to reserve a table without walking in person. And the amount of the meat topping has been reduced lately. Still love dining in and taking out from Classic Crust! Will keep”
“I went to Cupola yesterday with my 2 kids and it was amazing!! The crepes were absolutely delicious and my iced pistachio latte was sooooo good! My daughter loved the strawberry banan smoothie. I can’t wait to go back!!”
“We had lunch with friends today during restaurant week. The place was so busy, but we got excellent service, with a smile. The food was outstanding!! Thank you for a wonderful meal. Can't wait to return. Amazing.”
“Hai I have visited the store 4 timesI have experienced the best food over here in reasonable price and the staff was very coolKarthik received and helped very wellI suggest this for everyone to go over there”
“Food is great here. Service is also good and the owner is very nice. Our go to spot in the capital region. My only complaint was the included $27 service charge (not a tip charge). Happy to pay it but restaurants in New York have to disclose additional fees either verbally or in an obvious location on the menu (I studied Consumer Protection law). I didn’t make a fuss about it but it does need to be disclosed or you risk customers not returning or even lawsuits.”
