Capri Imports has just been given the key to the city of Schenectady, commemorating 50 years of service to the community. Considering 80% of restaurants close within the first five years, that is a remarkable feat. You know what else is remarkable? Capri Imports' sandwiches. Capri is a staple Italian specialty market that has been in Schenectady as long as I can remember. They are known for their giant sub's, delicious homemade salads, a number of amazing imported Italian specialty items and friendly service. The best part they're open 7 days a week and offer hot dishes such as veal and peppers, cavatelli with sausage and broccoli, stuffed breads and many other daily specials. The staff is truly a genuine joy to meet.

The smell when you walk in is FABULOUS!! Truly an Italian deli...the staff is wonderful...and the food...OMG.....prices are good ...food is delicious...freshly baked breads...I love it! Been there 3 times in 3 weeks! Always good!!
