Ordered 2 turkey subs and 2 Italian mix subs. The meat was not top quality or plentiful !! The bread was mediocre. Definitely not what they use to be. Paid over $50. Not worth it.

Capri Imports has just been given the key to the city of Schenectady, commemorating 50 years of service to the community. Considering 80% of restaurants close within the first five years, that is a remarkable feat. You know what else is remarkable? Capri Imports' sandwiches. The size of these creations is almost comical; a single sandwich will feed you for a few meals. It harkens back to an old-school deli because that's what it is. Sliced meats and cheeses are available at the counter. Different prepared foods are also on offer. Today, I had the pumpkin ravioli with candied pancetta. It was rich, sweet and salty...really good. Seasonal items such as baccala and panettone are available in the shop now. Also available are a variety of other consumables from coffee, olive oils, pasta, sauces, beverages, and even different types of capers, anchovies, and hazelnut spreads. Do you need to replace your moka pot? Those, along with pasta bowls, pasta machines, cookies, and cannolis can be purchased, too. Capri Imports is an icon of the Italian American deli. The service I've experienced has always been friendly. It's a staple of the neighborhood. Here's to hoping it'll be around for at least another 50 years.

Capri is a staple Italian specialty market that has been in Schenectady as long as I can remember. They are known for their giant sub's, delicious homemade salads, a number of amazing imported Italian specialty items and friendly service. The best part they're open 7 days a week and offer hot dishes such as veal and peppers, cavatelli with sausage and broccoli, stuffed breads and many other daily specials. The staff is truly a genuine joy to meet.

A gem on Broadway and the best subs in town! This place has been a staple for Italian imports and food for years and is still going strong. Unfortunately these family run Italian stores and restaurants in Schenectady seem to be going away in recent years. Which means it’s more important than ever to support them! You can’t go wrong coming here for lunch and getting a STUFFED sub, you will definitely get your money worth! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.I wish they would open up the front counter and start serving espresso and cappuccinos, it’s such a cool little spot! Absolutely love this place!

I love this place! It does not get any more Italian than Capri Imports. The selection of specialty items is huge. Everything is fresh and top quality. Everything I tried from sweets to deli meat were fantastic. Picked up some bruschetta for the house and that was so freakin good. The staff here are very attentive, kind, and fast! Despite the store's small size and a lot of people in it, the staff really get things moving but still take the time to make sure you are satisfied with everything. It's so important to me to support small businesses like these where you can clearly see these guys put their heart and soul into it. Keep doing what you guys do and Ti auguro il meglio! ??

Poor Service, Walked into Capri and was waiting at counter to be served. I was ignored 3 different times as other people walked in and got served right away. Looked at customer behind me and annonced " I am out of here". He agreed and said I don't blame you. No apologies or explanations as to what I was being ignored for. Went down the Street to Sal's market and got served right away!!

Went for a hike in Altamont NY....Wolf Creek Falls...nice hike. A bit muddy. When we were done we had quite the appetite. When we asked our son what he wanted for lunch, he wanted a sub. Options, Subway or Dibella's....blah! We found this little gem...easy parking on the street. We were greeted right away and ordered three subs...italian and roast beef. I had the roast beef! Yum....the bread was good..not may fav style but a classic sub role. I'd like to see if they have other options for bread. Three subs in the bag felt like they weighed 10 lbs...nice spot. We will be back.

I have traveled all over this country and Capri has the best subs to be found anywhere. Generous size and absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and make a visit!
