They also do some pastries, coffee/iced coffee, breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches/wraps and burgers. I definitely will be going back. “My favorite place in the 518 for Pizza. The wait is worth it! Thin, crispy and fresh tasty ingredients. Closest to NYC style you can find upstate. Best to call in the morning for a pick up time. Only open 4 days a week. 7.9 from El Presidente. Good stuff!”

“Great place! This is way better than subway and some other sub places near by are not as good as this. The subs were fresh, giant and the service was really great and it was super quick! I strongly suggest the Spicy east coast Italian sub. Great flavors and what I suggest is that you get the extra olive oil dressing, extra onions and extra pickles. The Thai Chicken wrap is also really good if you don't like cold-cuts. The ambiance is really nice with kind of a luxury restaurant fast food fusion inside. All in all, I would 100% recommend this place if you are a sub lover.”

“Located in the clubhouse at Western Turnpike Golf Course, The Hedge Bistro is a casual restaurant and bar serving up pub fare, draft beer, wine and mixed drinks.The soft opening menu was in effect at the time of this posting, which included a few appetizers, boneless wings, salads, burgers, sandwiches and a kids menu at fair prices. The menu will be expanding and offering more appetizers, street tacos, and pizzas soon. The atmosphere is old school casual with seating up at the bar, table seating and booths, TVs on the walls.I stopped in at The Hedge Bistro for a late lunch and to cool off on a very sunny and humid day. I sat up at the bar and given their soft opening menu. I got an ice quickly ordered the All American Burger ($13 plus tax) with fries.My food was served to me in 12 minutes after ordering. The burger was served open face with tomato slices, crisp lettuce, red onions, blue cheese crumbles (my choice on top of a firm fresh grilled beef burger patty on a soft toasted bun. The hot golden coated fries were typical crisp outside and soft inside, ketchup cup provided on plate (could've used a bit more).After I was finished, I got the check which was $14.04 with tax before tip (paying cash) or $14.60 with tax before tip (paying by card) and of course I went with the green option.Overall, a pretty good burger and fries lunch in a cool place. Afterwards, I headed back outside towards the greens and it was very steamy out there.”

“This Starbucks was very, very nice. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about what they offered and took the time to listen and understand how I wanted "my" beverage prepared. I am a 15 hr a day decaf drinker & not ALL Starbucks are willing to prepare THEIR beverages to meet my needs. It gets a bit frustrating when ordering to be told something does not come in decaffeinated coffee.....They were VERY helpful & very friendly 10☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆”

“We came as a group of four. Parking is super easy in the plaza. The choice for all-you-can-eat is amazing for us who loves meat. The iPad for self ordering is really convenient, and our service guy is really nice in refilling water and changing grill. I'm a huge fan of the seaweed salad and cheesy corn. Fried rice is ok...less flavorful and too little of portion. But the quality of the meat is perfect in Albany. We almost got all kinds of beef if not second round. First time doing lamb and got really surprised by the juicy and flavorful meat. Love the fact that they have ice cream and smores for dessert. Didn't get to drink much this time but would love to come back next time to have another feast.”

“I have been going to J & T's Cafe for many years. The food and service is always consistently good. What really takes it over the top are the freshly homade soups, which there is 6 or more varieties. Everything is prepared fresh everyday, and the best home cooked food around. The clientele that frequent this establishment are also very pleasant, which also is an indication of their satisfaction with this establishment. For those few disgruntled customers, take your frustration out on your wives or significant other. John and the crew at J & T's are aces.”

“Good mooring! Are you craving some delicious ice cream?! The perfect spot to satisfy the cravings is here. The parking is street parking, but I always find parking no matter when I go. When you first enter the store, it gives you a warm vibe, which is perfect for eating ice cream! I went when it was high noon. When I got to the counter, Sam greeted me right away, and she offered excellent suggestions. It took me a while to decide on what to get because the menu has unique names. Sam offered me samples, which helped me make my decision. She was very professional even though I was standing there for a while, trying to decide what to get with asking for multiple samples. In my personal experience, some people get impatient when you can't decide right away. You can't go wrong with any flavor! The ice cream was super tasty and amazing. The seating area is very cozy and organized. It feels like you got teleported to your living room. One thing that caught my eye was the chess board on the table. Make sure to clean up after yourself because we all know you don't leave garbage around in your living room. Overall, I have to say the experience was amazing because of Sam. Shout out to Sam!”

“We decided to try Albany Ale and Oyster House on a chilly, rainy Wednesday afternoon since we had to be on New Scotland Avenue for an afternoon doctor appointment. I'm so glad we did, and also happy we arrived just as they were opening because we were able to sit at the bar and visit with one of the owners, Mia. We tried a flight of beer opting for all pilsners, one each from Italy France, Czechia and from our own New York region; all tasty, just the right amount of foam and nice and chilled. I ordered the Beyond brat which comes with comes with kale slaw and honey mustard, crispy potato chips in a brown paper bag for soaking up the oil and keeping them crispy, and a mixed green salad with the best sesame honey dressing. I love good salads and this one was perfect, with dressing on each lettuce leaf. Mia said they take their salads seriously, and you can tell. My partner had the Reuben and he proclaimed it the best he ever had. Overall the taste, presentation and preparation of the food was perfect. Combined with the cozy atmosphere and the friendliness of the owner and all who work there; Albany Ale and Oyster House is now one of my top favorites in the areaVegetarian options: In addition to the Beyond Brat they offer Beyond Burger and some interesting salads.”
